  1. Stuck an AE93 speedo in my KE70 cluster so now I have a speed sensor. Trip meter doesnt work though :( had to remove the mechanism to make it fit. It might spin but I can't reset it.
  2. new episode
  3. Yeah, rare as the proverbial hens teeth. Only know of a handful kicking around.
  4. Choice bro. Miss the Starlets back home.
  5. I got a pair of Zetum tyres from Bob Jane which are supposedly rebranded Kumhos using their old design. Haven't been able to tell any difference between them and the old ku31's as yet. And Rian, it's all about the JDMs.
  6. So shitty <3
  7. If its been sitting with the bonnet up with no plugs in it I'd wanna pull the head off and check the cylinders. Especially if dirt got in there.
  8. Cheap diff! Is it lsd?
  9. Thats just a borg warner by the looks, inspection plate on the rear.
  10. OP needs to post photos of said diff
  11. 100% sure its an S series? Count the bolts holding the center in, if its 8 its an S, if 10 its a T. I don't think I have heard of or know of anyone with an S series LSD. There are rumours they exist so its not out of the realm of possibility. Unless its just welded.
  12. Most likely the sensor has died. If its anything like the ones on a 4AGE they can get brittle and fall to bits. You may get lucky and its just a loose connection, its only one wire between the sensor and ECU. The damn things arent cheap new though, and they are model specific. I tried a smallport one on my BP GZE and it didnt like it. I was lucky and found a good 2nd hand one for $10.
  13. LSD? S series LSD's are so rare they may as well not exist.
  14. If it's a ke70 it wouldn't have an S series Diff stock, although some trim models (maybe the XX) came with an S. Most likely it's the run of the mill Borg Warner. Incidentally most people will argue the BW is far stronger when locked compared to the S. Also OP, LSD options for the S are as rare as to be non-existent as the BW. You could look at Tarago For series diffs. Plenty of LSD options (ma61, is200).
  15. Best bet is to let us know what power it needs to handle then we can go from there. Its all speculation if we don't know if its 200HP or 600HP.
  16. Apart from welding the Diff locked there's no real other options. No LSD available. I don't even think there are spools available. Your best bet is to find a T series Diff out of a TE72/T18 or a USDM/JDM AE86. Plenty of LSD options, disc brake options and best of all they bolt in.
  17. I found these guys, pretty cheap. They're in Europe somewhere though but still under $150-ish per set delivered. http://ala-plast.com/
  18. You wont get ones specifically for KE70, try looking for AE86 ones or generic ones. Plenty on eBay.
  19. http://www.rollaclub.com/wiki/index.php?title=Tech:Engine/K_Series/How_to_build_a_tough_K_motor Read that.
  20. Supposedly there hasnt been any rain there at all. Hasnt been a drop at my place either.
  21. It's still on supposedly. I'm not risking it.
  22. Have a read through these. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/57216-ke70-wheel-fitment-thread/ http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/57187-ke70-loweringsuspension-thread/
  23. Facebook event if you're so inclined. https://www.facebook.com/events/681516235296798/
  24. Not my event but I'm spreading the word. If you're keen and in Brissy and want to convoy from Springwood let me know.
  25. Yeah, there are a few car shows and shit on in the weekend that look like they'll be canned. Some have been postponed already.
