Go with what you want to do, 2 door ke20's are awesome and many people have done different egine conversions with them. Someone will correct me on this but i think a 4age is a direct bolt in to your current car, but like you said front wheel drive (or a death trap).

One big thing I learnt real quick is not to post your email on a globally visited website. Posted a question on a message board about a harley wiring diagram and been receiving dodgey emails for years.

Spotted an Orange Ke35/55 coupe in the city last night, dunno know if he's a member, pretty clean from what i could see apart from the rear bar which was really bent out of shape. Also spotted a ke55 (i think) at the South road/goodwood road intersection heading south, waves exchanged

How bout the rear mount for the manual boxes, are they all in the same position or do they differ?

You could find out from a parts supplier couldn't you, find out the different part numbers and go from there?

Not much of an update yet, found a way to modify the tacho signal the only thing for me to do is to work out how do to the fuel level indication, Guage Works said either 90 or so dollars to do it, but thats too much. Will update at the end of the week.

Thought I'd start a new post (cause i'm bored) but while I was an apprentice I was told by a few tradies of what they've got apprentices to do in the past (also what they've done to them). i'll start with "Go to the store and ask for a long weight" "Get some air to put in the engine" "Turn the battery upside down to get that last bit of electricity out"

You might get about a million replies to this. I've never heard of pouring oil down a carby, fuel or start ya bastard yes but not oil, kind of strange to me. My 3k started no problems when i first got it, pump the accelerator a few times before starting, crank apply choke and give it some revs, that's all i did when i first got it. after a rebuild though it's crank and pump the accelerator slightly and apply some choke, mostly in cold weather.

Chin, open the dizzy cap and get someone to hit the starter and see if the contacts of the points open and close. If you have trouble i can always drive down and help you, if it comes to that.
