If you can weld and good with metal fabrication you could make your own system, get valves and stuff from a scrap yard. Am thinking of doing it myself, with my own ecu and stuff. Just have to wait for the programming part of my degree.

I was going to organise a backup one, but have been busy over the past couple of days. And also my rear suspension is average at the moment. We could maybe get one going later today but it'd only be about 4 people i reckon.

Car manufacturers like to keep plugs and things the same, you may find that there is a tacho signal wire already terminated into one of the plugs that go into your current dash. So it could be as easy as plug and play. The thing to do would be to grab one of the clusters and compare it to the one that's in your car, and then go from there.

Another update on the Rolla, just fitted lower springs to the front last night. Much better than before, but not too much of a drop. Gonna fit some new ignition bits very soon, hopefully. Here's a before an after pic, SO happy with how far i've come with it.

Google it, it is a muffler, and not everyone can go out and buy a welder. Steve get one of your mates to have a look at it, the muffler should just be welded on where the last one was and do the bracket as per original. Take a photo of the original setup and the new 'backbox' then we can be a little more descriptive. Jono

Look up the cost of a full air bag system, and it's something that should be done by a qualified auto-elec. Cause in the end those things can break bones if they go off when you don't want them to. Knowing what's in an airbag system i would not bother, just get a later model car tha has them standard.

Hey guys old thread but are all k40 and k50 rears mounts in the same position, through the range of ke30-70's? And are they all big hole in the middle and two 8mm (i think) either side of the big one? Cheers Jono

If one side of the front bumper is closer than the other that means the brackets are bent, are the brackets 90 degrees to the bumper?

If the face that touches the rotor comes out atleast 5mm you should be alright, don't know about your rims but my dragways were hitting the caliper so i had to upgrade to girlocks.

Wow....just fitted a new driver 1/4 panel and front lip....JEEZUZ that was so much more difficult than i thought. Had to move the door like 5 times then the front lip was different to the one that was on there, but all good and so happy with the result. I'm getting a massive love hate relationship with this car, but it should pay off in the end. Here's a pic of it now, it's taken from that angle cause i had to rest the phone on the ground.....so sleepy... I'm replacing that door so I might just spray paint that strip white to get rid of it.
