No, that's caused by a the wrong plug/mechanism down at the gearbox, got the same thing wrong with mine. The little gear depends on the diff ratio and the gearbox.

Correct, The wire coming from the distributor should go to the negative side of the coil. And the feed from the Ingition and Ballast resistor goes to the positive side of the coil.

If you get rid of the black strip down the side and that black vent on the back pillar, i mean paint everything on it yellow and i think it would look sweet, and a little dark tint on it aswell.

Coil gets earthed through the distributor, so unless your points are stuffed i'd look into a missing power feed. Are all your fuses intact?

I've thought about hooking up an alarm siren (which you can buy seperatly from like jaycar or dicksmith) up to the door signal and place the siren inside the car and have a secret switch somewhere so you can turn it off obviously before you opening the door. Ok, sounds like when you connect a red to a black your putting a feed directly in the starter circuit which will start the car when the red gets power ('on' position). You need to test which wire gets power when you hit the starter and align that up to the black that makes the car start in the on position. One of the red wires should have power all the time so connect that onto each black wire to see which one is the reverse lights and then just go from there. I'm in Adelaide to so if you need a quick hand i'm happy to come up.

Hey guys, the weather seems to be getting better, think it's time to put the windows down and go for a cruise. I'm thinking of -Starting at Bunnings mile end (cause i think that's where they all start from) -Flagstaff hill -Cherry Gardens -Ironbank -Stirling -Summertown -Montacute -Gumeracha Then down to -Woodside -Balhannah -and home from there Pretty big drive now that i look at it so an alternate path would be -Bunnings mile end -Outharbour and just follow the coast for however long we want to go for I reckon a meet up time of about 11am or midday what ever people think. So just post a reply and we can go from there. Or we could just meet up for a meet and great, bit late notice i know but would be good for a cruise this weekend. Your asking other people for their opinions........this will explode and get locked. Go with what you want to do, 2 door ke20's are awesome and many people have done different egine conversions with them. Someone will correct me on this but i think a 4age is a direct bolt in to your current car, but like you said front wheel drive (or a death trap).

How bout the rear mount for the manual boxes, are they all in the same position or do they differ?

You could find out from a parts supplier couldn't you, find out the different part numbers and go from there?

Not much of an update yet, found a way to modify the tacho signal the only thing for me to do is to work out how do to the fuel level indication, Guage Works said either 90 or so dollars to do it, but thats too much. Will update at the end of the week.
