  1. Do you have power going to the back of the light? Do you have continuity between the earth of the light and the body? If the globes have been replaced are they double filament or single? Do the rest of the parks work? Do the brake lights work? Ummmm.....
  2. Can you get one of them rover V8's with just a gearbox, or do they all come with the transfer case setup on them?

Does anyone know where I can source parts or know of an electronics place that can fix it" I think it would be a specialized part mate, you'd have to get it directly from Apexi aas micro-controller/processors are programmed specifically for the job that they do.
  7. Damn....normally that's the first thing that's said with problems like that, missed it.
  8. Did you do the points gap? and is it correct at .45mm (i think) How bout the coil and ballast resistor what condition are they in?
  9. Ummm...have you ever looked under the bonnet of a car....From that reply somehow you've actually wasted the time it took for me to write replies plus this one......
  10. fark....is this for a daily? Just go out and buy a small car that already has good fuel economy and use this car for days you want to use that 3L/km more...... the solar hydrogen idea isn't too bad....what do you put into it? Water...hmmm.... (i'm not upset, just bored)
  11. Unless you set up a home solar hydrogen generation kit, compress it and put it in your car.....
  12. Yeah, but the principle is there.
  13. You could look into hydrogen http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PRO-HYDROGEN-HHO-GENERATOR-KIT-fuel-cell-browns-gas-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2eb156314bQQitemZ200543711563QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Or something like that. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/21178-hybrid-hydrogen-kits/page__p__256225__hl__hydrogen__fromsearch__1#entry256225

  15. 17401B - gasket exhaust pipe (before intermediate pipe thingo) 17451 - Gasket exhaust pipe (after intermediate pipe thingo) 11302A - gasket for timing cover (my guess) .............................cause I'm bored
  16. I think I saw one on ebay, was going to confirm it on here cause there's one on there that I like. They go for $109 with $120 postage or something. Actually i think Ryan in adelaide might have one.
  17. What are the Internal and External dimensions of them, the one on the left looks like a seal for the crank shaft or maybe a gearbox seal. And like dave said the other two look like exhaust gaskets but if the diameter is too big then it's a dw part.
  18. I'd stick with 4.7 and 7.2 mate, wish i was getting that.....
  19. Save yourself the trouble and get one of these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daihatsu_Charade . A mate used to thrash his and always get like 6l/km.
  20. If your running stock gear then it's better to run with the vacuum advance connected, once you start doing turbo/super charging stuff is when you can remove it.
  21. Not everyone knows much as you mate.......
  22. There is a thread for youtube video's and this one has been out for some months........nice video though
  23. Dizzy stands for Distributor, it's the device that "distributes" the spark to each cylinder and also provides the timing for the ignition system. People say dizzy cause it's alot easier than writing distributor
  24. How many times have you been broken into? What state do you live in, cause an alarm is probably the best deterrant for thiefs, if your afraid to spend too much on an alarm and live in SA I could install one for about $150 (including the alarm). And it's probably worth it not keeping any valuables in your car.
  25. Yeah which is the reason I'm pissed off about the whole thing, did the most of the rebuild myself apart from the head. And now I have to do the stem seals.
