Get outta here, you're loopy. How can you not have a break from uni? So are you for or against BCs? I couldn't quite tell, do you think it's best to leave it to the professionals as in the guys who design BCs etc, or the professionals being the guys with the know-how who match springs to shocks and stuff(for custom coilovers)? I think the BCs mainly come in 8kg front/6kg rear, whereas I want something like 5kg front/4kg rear. But BCs are so cheap! And have camber plates! And base height adjustment! And they are shiny!

ughhh, Uni holidays are over :abuse: Also, what do people think: build custom coilovers or buy BCs? Pros and cons for each? Edit: cool vids Dave, that was a quality post. btw, who is knowone? :P:

Take the wiper arm off and rotate it clockwise a few teeth on the shaft then put it back on?

It's the exact same photo as the one on ebay, so I'm guessing it's the same one. They are totally cool, I want one.

What uni are you going to Will? If it's in the city you can pretty much forget about your license/car/form of transport that isn't public.

So the guy I was buying the 4AGZE AE71 off sold it to someone else, after I told him many times that I was going to buy it. I had been trying to organise with him a time to go pick it up for the last couple of weeks, but he was just too lazy to sort anything out. I even organised a car trailer and tow car. People on boostcruising suck!

I had this, some guy who was supposedly calling from Microsoft telling me I had a virus. I got confused and thought it was legit until I remembered I had a Mac lol. Then I was like :doublebird:

I'm about to make new coilovers as well, but I want to try the ST185 insert. Do you know the dimensions on the ST185 insert? I have a feeling the SW20 front inserts are shorter than the rears, but I do not know the dimensions of the SW20 fronts unfortunately. Parrot will probably know, he has them in his struts. Give me a second and I'll check those part numbers for you. Edit: Toyota MR2 SW20 KYB Excel G: FRONT: 365099 REAR: 365100 So you have the correct part numbers.

Thanks Ben! <3 Hokay, so a guy I know said he would sell me his 4AGZE AE71. It is mod plated for the conversion and uses a 20v bottom end with the 4agze head. So here are some related questions for you OTers: -is the 20v bottom end/4AGZE head a common thing? I know nothing about 4AG*Es so I've never heard of it. -do the 20v blocks have the oil squirters and would that be the most likely reason he used it? -what is involved in registering a car with a mod plate in Queensland? Apart from the standard roadworthy certificate and third party insurance stuff, do I just have to provide the engineer's certificate? If I'm missing any important stuff regarding 4AGZEs or mod plates/engineer's certificates let me know, I really have no idea about it. Other than that I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it, I can't wait!
