I get a little passionate about the language of my forefathers. If you see the little red line under a word, there is a reason! No, it won't correct grammatical mistakes, but it'll point you in the right direction. Key strokes on the Internet cost NOTHING! It'll help people get your message. Bamboo.

I'll happily take your money. Bega is in NSW

I've got the signal red corona. RT 81 http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=43347 Has a heater tap sitting on the inner left hand guard. Also came with a spare tap. Knowing our friends/fiends at Toyota who love to parts share, it maybe the one your after. I'll look down centre road and post up some pics of the one I have. Cost? I do like beer, if I find a match, 6 beers please. Boo.

You won't get many replies without using SPELL CHECK! If you use all the same accessories, including manifolds, water pump, thermostat housing, rear heater hose plate, mounts etc, it'll bolt straight in.

df, I think we all go wrecker hunting. Any clue on what it looks like and where it sits? I'm off to centre road tomorrow to hunt pulsar parts.

therefore, you're in the trade and have the hands of a girl!
-
Yup, lazy office hands. No more do I have the "vice grip" yank. Instead I use my bro. I've seen him snap bolts that are impossible to snap! But E, I still know the tricks!
-
Hi Ben, re-read exactly what you want. Grab and twist as hard as you can. If I can't get it, which is rare, I employ my brother. Knows nothing about cars (is a brickie, now driving my old KE35) but has the strongest grip I've ever seen. He breaks parts just looking at them! He's not allowed to touch cars without my instruction! If you know someone with forearms like tree trunks, get them to go with you!

Hoses are cheap. Razor them off. you can buy generic Z shaped hoses (13mm) if you need angle. Always cheaper than destroying the core.
-
Or go back to my earlier post. BE GENTLE. As my old boss used to say...treat it like you would a new virgin you just got into bed. loads of lube and loads of TLC. Rad taps do work just follow the above.

Ah yeah, voted the most unsafe car of all time in a crash. I actually drove one on my L's a long time ago. What a powerhouse, with the 2 speed auto. 80 ks an hour flat out! They get ringy and blow smoke real quick. How's the engine? Mighty boy = Mighty dead real soon! But FUN
-
Yeah E, your right. But if you do it on the grass, you'll have a nice dead patch. My neighbours don't really give a shit so I let that bad boy flow. My theory is people are allowed to water their garden, so the occasional flush on my fleet of cars is ok!
-
pull of the heater hoses at the fire wall to flush the heater core, and BE GENTLE with the water pressure. Flushing is an art on old cars. Flush every hose in each direction until all you see is clear water. 'Cause it's a drought, don't let the neighbours see!

it's old but i searched, and couldn't see it. Boo

Been buying some stuff from here lately. There a some I wouldn't wear, and some are down right wrong. But you WILL laugh. http://www.tshirthell.com/hell.shtml

Some shit floating around in the carb? Carby cleaner the insides, start it up with out the air filter rev it up, and place your hand over the top of the carb as it's revving. It'll suck your hand down and almost stall. Pull your hand off before stall and repeat. It may not fix it, but it's cheap and easy to do. You never know your luck. As for other stuff to do? Take a leaf out of the overrated ke 70s (ben) book and detail the crap out of everything. Car detailing stuff expensive? Most kitchen stuff will work with a little experimentation. Those cream oven cleaners are a favourite. (hint, raid your mums cupboard!)

The latest! Been using the humpback as a DAILY. Apart from the fact I can't get the clutch pedal to stop squeaking, it's faultless. Not fast, but it's the most unique car on my 60km a day return trip from the 'burbs to the city. Now just waiting for it to warm up so I can give it a "driveway" spray job. Also picked up an 1980's Ferris equaliser to wire in series behind the dash to boost that 1977 stereo sound. Photos to follow. Boo

go hard, or go home It really doesn't matter what you drive as long as you stick to that philosophy!

Mrs Bamboo is a teacher and uses them all the time. Do you have those Asian/Vietnamese junk shops around? They sell note pads with fifty x 50 aussie dollar notes. They cost around 2 bucks. If you can't source them yell and I'll see what I can do. Boo

Put in new heater core and headlining today. Much nicer for the freezing melbourne winter. Still needs a bloody good wash and polish, but I've been driving it around and it runs so bloody well. But it isn't a rolla, and you can tell in the build quality. This thing was built 5 minutes drive from where I live!

JP (the Nob) has got some work on his hands. His 10/11 will take time. We can always give him grief and tell him to hurry up! The Nobbler is organising the GOR cruise. E, if you pull out, like a bitch, the repercussions will be endless. Make sure you choose who you give shit too! Evan, take it easy...Boo

yeah, E, I'll be there. if anyone fancies coming along in the slow arse humpback, give me a yell. I'm coming from the SE near Dandy. The passenger seat is free. You may be required to take happy snaps! Boo

Yup, he says with a great big fat smile!
