Sorry mate, but thats the biggest crock of shit ever!! :y:

Let re-phrase that....."If you go 13bt and pump $10,000 into the engine, gearbox, diff, fuel system etc you will nearly have a 10 second car" :jamie:

Put in a nice little K motor, any 3K, 4K, 5K or 7K motors.

There is plenty of "brain switched on" guys and girls here, any one of them are more than willing to share info on a decent K motor build.

I would recommend a 5K, and throw in the 3 C's - Cam, Compression and Carburettor.

Don't forget about port matching manifolds, some extractors, and a nicely made exhaust without the wank factor.

why not build up a quick 7k alot of those newzealand guys have really got them happening, otherwise yea a 5k would be awsome plus its fun when people ask what motor you have in your car and you tell then its out of a van! haha

depends what you are into really.

building a tough K motor would be cool but will probably only impress the hardcore.

rotary will bring smiles all round but people will get fed up with the noise after a while.

Is it your only car or do you have other transport?

are you after a weekend conversion or can you have the car off the road for awhile?

what is your budget including nice seats, rubber and other fancy bits?

you may find the 5K route to be inexpensive at first but you may want more power in the long run and then have to either ditch it and start again with something else or try and squeeze as much power as possible out of it or you could just go 13b turbo and have more potential. you should check the rules in your state as to what you are allowed in a car that weighs as little as a ke20.
