smeetsy1 Posted November 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 cd player in with a centre console - thanks nick. tried to mount venetian when i got home yesterday but failed :) There is only one prong where it should slide in at the top (near roof lining) but where the strip that you need to unscrew and allow the prong to go into has a lip. So the prong can't be screwed back in. I kept banging my head in the car so i left it. Looks like there is supposed to be more prongs on either side but i don't understand this lip business. They were pretty dirty when i got them so i've cleaned them up and they look alot better - pity about the dent which wasn't pointed out to me... internet buying is a bad experience. Nick is going to help me lower it next week - just springs and lowering blocks and then i'll put the hubs on and get 3/4 whitewalls on it. I had same issues with him, took over a month from payment to receiving them. I only got them sent when I threatened to take it to an Admin. Funny the post date on the box is the same date he received that PM from me. My hubbies were in reasonable condish though, a few dents but not as big as the one you have there. And yes, i feel they were pricey (don't know how much you payed for yours) but i was completely unaware of that dent. I was only supplied with one image of a good condition one. It's really my first interstate buy through here other than a few springs and stuff and i'm learning ot be very certain and clear about the product.
