Did you pick all the little subtle body mods? Once you started pointing them out to me Justin I was utterly gob smacked!! The motor has turned out perfect! Although it doesn't look much different to when I spotted it at your mates work. Now that was a while ago! KEI069 Posted April 29, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 Thanks guys, I would have loved to run the Hilborn style scoop but for roadworthy reasons it just wasn't gonna work, I'm still making an adapter for it though just for shits and giggles. So I have already broken a l/h engine mount in under 1500 kms, ( it was new ) but I guess that's all a part of trying something A bit different. KEI069 Posted May 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2013 Well, it turns out that KE10 lower control arms aren't very strong, maybe because the leaf spring is removed, but I would advise against hitting gutters So just a warning kiddies, don't be silly on the wet roads.
