Picked up the rear seats from my uncle's workshop today, Fronts are done too, But they want to wait for the fabric to settle before they are happy to give them back...

Did you use a Sedan rear cushion or a Wagon cushion?

What do you mean by cushion? This was made out of the standard rear seats to match the pattern of the front seats..

Well that's certainly different. Why the red stripe? The car is blue? Just something different? Also, should have reshaped the seat bottom a bit to be more "bucket"-like :D

 

Anyways, sure beats the original seats ;)

By cushion, I mean the part your butt sits on as opposed to the squab (spelling?) which your back leans against. The sedans have sprung cushion and the wagon has a more comfy foam cushion.

It was all standard KE70 sedan gear, From what I was told the old foam was pretty f@$ked when he was reupholstering them.. Matt probably asked to have them beefed up a bit..

 

Anyway, Picked up the fronts this afternoon..

Took it for a few laps of the yard tonight after cutting the hole in the carpet for the shifter, filling gearbox with oil, filling diff with oil, fitting steering wheel, hanging exhaust and fitting a seat in the front :)

Wow, so thats what a new ke70 feels like to drive.. Got back into my white daily, and went UGH, what a piece of crap :)
