I never got off the crack jake hahahahah... got more welding gas today and a plasma cutter coming tomorrow. have most of the "tub" cut out, and bracing between B pillars and C pillars, also braces running between strut towers, most being temporary. will get the doors completely welded up tomorrow, have to redo the drivers side door again as it sits in a bit at the top

i always wanted to see one as a ute, can't wait to see it done should be sweet :y:

My mate in NZ did a HEMI V8 Keto ute burnout car, that thing was insane. Never seen one done with a sedan though.

doing it with sedan as a base is definitely making shit difficult for my self, but at least I'm not hacking up a wagon.. stuff I love wagons ! :)

oh it's also probably worth a mention, new turbo rocked up a month ago.. cleaned out all the lines to make sure that wasn't the problem.. fitting as many gauges as I can before starting the thing again

 

so I finished welding up the frame today.. just making sure it has enough bracing lol

haha, seriously but.. ordered the cold weld seamless pipe today for the cross bars and a few sheets of 1.6, did a bit of cutting welding grinding bla bla bla nothing too exciting

Wonder if you could ever get something like this on the road without all the cage bracing,guess you would need a friendly engineer!
