I ended up with another project car. It is a 1975 (pre-smog for CA) TE38 E5. I bought it cheap. I drive 300+ miles to see the car. The ad said "Runs Good". I got there and he said it hasn't been driven for 7 years and he had just got it started. He had owned the car for a long time. It served as a first car for all 3 of his kids. I checked it over, bought it, did some minor engine work, and drove it 324 miles home with no issues. The car drives well, but an engine rebuild is needed. It has low power due to compression. It's ugly as sin. The pictures make it look better than it actually is.

Recently aquired this gem from albury nsw sight unseen and drove it all the way home (ballarat Victoria) without it skipping a beat and went about getting it up to road worthy spec and making it my own. And then after getting it road worthy fitted some reset leafs I had acquired and some choppies till I get my corona struts sorted and chucked on a set of ssr formula stars I had holding up my ke25 Next on the list of things to do is swap out the terrible standard vinyl seats for some velour ma61 items and mod the sump on this sucker and chuck her in

So.... I picked up this old girl a couple days ago, 1984 KE70, 90,000km on the clock with a years rego for $500! She's pretty tidy but didn't make the 2 hour drive home without breaking down hah. She hasn't been driven in well over six months because grandma died and the family didn't want to touch her. Basically from what I can gather she just needs a new thermostat and battery at this stage and I need to figure out why shes idling so low despite winding it up so until I figure that out I'm neutral d-dropping from sets of lights haha.. SO MUCH LOVE! (And yes, I am female for those of you wondering)

Hello RollaClub! I'm Danny from Southern California, I've been lurking around the site for the past few months now and finally decided to join. I have a 1979 KE30 coupe, that I purchased November of last year. So far its been a blast to drive and have been slowly getting it together since. I'm hoping with the help of RollaClub and a little elbow grease I can accomplish better performance and make it look more appealing. ;)

I was looking at philbey's pictures and saw this wagon at a great angle...hope he doesn't mind me chopping it up. They made a 2 door, a 4 door, a fastback and a wagon, ...I think it would have made a good looking truck too.

I recently aquired a 74 KE20 to use as my primary track car while I finish a few other projects. It has already been extensively modified and mod plated for everything which is the reason I bought this particular car. Got the first stage of the Gorilla done, 4 link rear end, shortened Hilux Diff with ford axles and disc brakes, coarse adjustable inverted watts link, adjustable sway bar, in a KE55. The plan with the car is to build a bit of an all rounder, as we don't get enough drag racing, or track racing here to specialise in one or the other. I'm building it so that I can adjust bars/springs change wheels and tyres and have a bit of fun any chance I get. A bit like a track car that I can get to hook up at the strip.
