I'm not exercising my trolling here by the way just trying to clarify. If someone says AE86 translates to Hachi Roku in Japanese, there are correct as I see it. As made somewhat evident by ke70dave, you aren't directly translating one thing to another. As I was saying before, while I may saying eighty six as that's how I as an Australian interpret the code, someone in Japan interprets them as individual digits. Therefore in Japanese 86 is hachi roku when in the context of a code.
