I love T-18's, I think they are absolutely beautiful. The public however thinks they are disgusting, and they aren't structurally as sound as say a KE70.

If it's only 120 thousand k's, expect it to live until you can afford a newer car. All the other parts will break before the engine I imagine.

I'm not saying it is a Chevrolet V8, I'm just saying as far as merging of design goes it seems more relevant to call it a Corolla crossed with a Chevrolet, rather than a Corolla crossed with a Commodore.

Okay so the 4K and everything was working fine but I'm still looking to the future and as such my surge tank came in the mail today! Is this set up correct? With the aluminium bundy tube, how can I attach it? Would it make sense to use the rubber tube and the round metal clips for the fuel tank lines and to the high pressure fuel pump, and just bundy tube it from the fuel pump to the rails and the FPR to the surge tank? If I were to simply run the rubber tubing through the cabin, would I be able to get it through engineering?

So once again I'm planning my cars conversion and I still feel that a Beams will be the easiest way for me to get the results I want. With this in mind selecting the right brake and suspension set up is obviously crucial. Reading some of the information from the professional companies like Hoppers Stoppers and Wilwoods, it seems like there really needs to be a lot of thought put into choosing the components. One thing I noted in particular was choosing a master cylinder to correctly match the caliper and disk choice. Is doing one of the cheaper options, like 86 struts with RX-7 calipers and something like the R32 master cylinder going to be a good system? Or is it just going to get me by and maybe through engineering. The companies that manufacture full brake replacement kits only seem to fit 15 inch wheels and bigger, and my wheels are currently 14 inch (Toms Igeta). So if I went down that path I'd need bigger wheels to begin with. Beginning with is of course the biggest problem which is why I'd like a clear vision of what I need to get. Engine should be putting out around 250hp and over 200 and over 150 ft-lbf so obviously that's the first consideration. I imagine the RX-7 caliper upgrade should be able to handle it but I don't know. Help?

I don't understand if this a joke or not, can someone please help? Why would you look for "super dorifto style" ideas on a strictly Corolla forum, especially if it's for a Mitsubishi? Aside from the fact that most people here aren't even necessarily into going fast or sideways, but are just into Corollas regardless of "naws".

As made somewhat evident by ke70dave, you aren't directly translating one thing to another. As I was saying before, while I may saying eighty six as that's how I as an Australian interpret the code, someone in Japan interprets them as individual digits. Therefore in Japanese 86 is hachi roku when in the context of a code. Again, I'm certainly not calling you a moron and I can see where you're coming from, but can you see where I am coming from?

I saw a steam train out run an electric car so I think that you are wrong. Will this fit on a ke70? I don't have a car atm as I am getting my cousins for my 16th bday so can someone please find out. How much does a flux capacitor cost and is it better than a steam engine as I saw a steam engine out run it so better power to weight ratio??? :?

To GJM85, most unrealistic post ever. He wants advice about doing up his car, whether or not he has questionable taste is irrelevant. Also I hardly think he wants to wait three years before doing anything, otherwise he'd probably just be saving up for a Skyline or something similar rather than getting an AE8*.
