Har har, epic fail on my behalf. Didn't think anyone was online who could see my IP. Far too obvious trolling. :lolcry:
  5. Professional what?
  6. Are you pretending to be a school holidays guy lolz cheers xmoht
  7. I am not referring to you at all Trev :lolcry: You've been here for four and a half years and have over 4,000 posts, I think that would put you in the seniority group. I on the other hand have been here a whopping great six months, and have posted less than 300 posts (and posted even less if you exclude my trolling).
  8. Why do you change cars so often?
  9. This is apparently a KE70 strut with coilovers. I'm trying to figure out exactly what this is to replicate it myself. The poster (the infamous blown5k) says that it is the Wilwood four piston Dynalite caliper, with a Supra 280mm rotor. I'm struggling to figure out the rotor though as it is four bolt, where as the Supra's are generally five bolt. It looks like perhaps there is an adapter on it, any thoughts?

I'm saying it is a technology developed to increase power across the rev range while keeping the displacement of the engine down. Ergo, a replacement for displacement. I'm not talking about Honda, or about rumbling?
  11. Please inform all of us where you think a good place would be to install these on a 4AGE engine.
  12. Nice ride. For something truly unique, get a custom made mattress for the roof and a mirror for the floor. That way you can sleep on the mirror and it will give the appearance you're on a mattress.

Variable vale timing is a replacement for displacement though, can you elaborate on why you think it isn't?
  14. Can't use N2O and the budget is 8 to 10 thousand dollars. Can't use nitrous because the car is run every day and would be illegal.
  15. Personally I agree. The only problem with that vehicle is the back wheels. Every other aspect of the car is perfectly rational and well styled.
  16. Wasn't sure if I should post here or the Lambo doors thread.
  17. Just to reiterate, don't listen to anyone except the people on the other end of the phone at the transport department.
  18. Emphasis on the fact you are aware of the experience.
  19. At a guess I reckon if the engine is as well built as the guy makes it out to be, running at around 45psi you could probably make that figure. :hmm: Either way I suggest you try running it at 45psi as soon as possible and return to us with the result. Preferably have someone record it with video from a distance, and show them how to post using your account.
  20. I was made to kiss his naughty place while the older apprentices watched. Then when I became a third year apprentice I got to watch! :hmm:
  21. Ever notice how it's just as regular that the school holiday gang is making fun of the rest of the school holiday gang as any of the senior forum members?
  22. I'm doing the exact same thing but eventually going to weld the rear doors. Played about with the look in photoshop a bit over the past few months and I still think it looks alright. Check out Lloyd Smith's 1UZ KE70 as he's done basically this. I wouldn't trust anyone on here regarding legality as more often than not it's wrong. Just call up your state transport center, cost of a local call, takes less than two minutes and you can ask any questions you want.
  23. Where are the pics?
  24. Just repeating what everyone else has said but go the hilux diff. A car that powerful you want a diff that can handle the thrashing you'll give it. Yes the hilux diff is heavy but if you're making 280kw at the wheels in a car that weighs 800kgs I don't think you'll notice it. If anything having a little extra weight at the rear end could be a good thing. EDIT: This is a link to brake upgrades. That is if you don't want to pay for a proper brake upgrade like Wilwoods or Hoppers Stoppers (which I would probably recommend seeing as it is a 280kw at the wheels engine in an 800kg car)
  25. Sounds crazy but it's true. I find myself benching similar figures to you Evan G, but a lot of people in my family and around the gym a lot younger than me quite happily bench enormous weights.
