Don't want to post other members photos, but if you haven't seen one fly you haven't seen the Tassie section!

Does anyone else think the site has gotten steadily worse? Anyone seen the latest aesthetic upgrade? The most tacky and revolting thing I have seen for a long time. Just want to see if anyone else is thinking the same thing. It used to be a very slick looking functional website.

T-18 seats?

This is an absolute beauty Grego! The 4K-C label is just hilarious/brilliant. Stock brakes at the moment? Aesthetically very nice too, great wheel choice.

Just as a note it's probably best to look for something other than a T18 to use for scrap metal considering 1) how hard to find they are 2) how rusted out they all are.

Disagree. Evidence as follows.

So a few weeks ago I spent the weekend giving the boot a quick sand and paint. Didn't get any before photos unfortunately but it had a spray can black paint job that was awful, so trust me that it's an upgrade. Got some MDF and carpet and made up a quick insert to tidy it all up. Still got to get a new rubber for the boot seal evidently. Had to replace fix the exhaust pipe and do a new gasket as it was a bit too smokey. Got to have a look at the starter motor as one of the wires insulation had melted away since the new engine was put in. Everything is still trotting along at an alright pace, soon to hopefully be my daily driver!

I agree, in a fluoro yellow 1980's Corolla with enormous wheels and fender mirrors you will have difficulty in standing out. Preferably cover your rear window in a mural that involves a sheep bending over a police officer, and paint a target on the bonnet to help break up the colour. Photos are a must. Use the gallery for easy storage of files.

Bit of a stupid question, but you haven't managed to mate the 20v to the stock gearbox have you?

Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing, but why do you want to work a 3K/collect 3K's rather than the 5K or 7K route?

LOL Add: In terms of practicality I think newer racks might be better. For style something like this I think would be cool. Maybe due to how low the racks are, you could use wood on top if you went with that retro styling. Shortened with wooden racks
