lancer and laser wheels will fit (pcd wise) but the offset will be all wrong. The laser wheels will also foul on the centre hubs on the back without spacers.

Does it have a cam in it? Don't expect it to idle at 500rpm like a stock motor if so.

You be suprised how much noise from a diff can travel up through the drive train and sound like its actually a problem at the front of the car. Like whats been said, jack it up and check the diff/tailshaft/uni joints, then move on if you don't find anything. :dance:

You do realise you can buy brand new starter motors from Ashdown Ingrams etc? I ended up paying $200 (trade) for a reduction starter brand new (5kj). :dance:

I think most the cable operated K-T bells in Aus are from the KE35's that had a T50. The KM series liteaces (with 4k's or 5k's) had the K-WX0 bellhousing, not T. x2 vids/pics/dyno graphs. 180rwkw is a pretty big claim! 7k or not.

Well I was on the right track re the reverse plug, it green and female..... but obviously not it. I'll double check on my car, but I think my BB low level indicator has 2x wires. :dance:

2x speakers only need 3x wires, as the 3rd is a COMMON earth. There may be an extension that plugs onto it to each speaker. See if you can't find any other wiring that could be for speakers. Can garentee that single wire is aircon. :) 3rd (and possibly 4th) wires in a 55 are for the 4th gear (and possibly 5th) trigger wires to the carby for cruising duties. Where does the wiring from your GB go back into the loom?

haha yeah K's will run with the timing anywhere between say -10o and +40 odd like you said. Weather they start or not is another story. Get it hot though and it won't be so bad.
