  1. Hey all quick warning on this listing as no-doubt a couple of you are bidding on them...... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-COROLLA-KE-1...A1%7C240%3A1318 I have noticed that they are not actually K extractors, due to the bolt pattern, see below pic.... I have advised the seller earlier in the week that what he is selling is NOT what he's advertised, and given him pics to prove it. Look like he has chosen not to disregard this advise and sell it anyway! SO....anybody who was planning on bidding, forget it. If somebody here is holding the current bid I suggest you retract it and follow the ebay directions for incorrectly listed items. [/rant] Si.
  2. use a K series A/C bracket. PM Falken_ke30 as he has the bracket on his 4k but bo A/C pump and he needs funds for a timing chain!!
  3. Yeah one of the holes that bolts to the brackets on the block. Don't know about yours, but I also had one on the other side that was about 10mm off the hole it was supposed to bolt to.
  4. ^that would be an in-bred joke if you didn't get it. Australia (the country) is cashing in on Australia (the movie) with a new international add (to replace "how the bloody hell are you") directed by Baz lerman........ so why should we do it too!!
  5. Because I dare say even in the states it would be like buying a genuine HQ Manaro!
  6. Yeah I find his power fiqures a bit hard to believe as well. My old 4k (granted it had no work except for a mild cam) made 70rwkw with 8psi up its guts! You sure it wasn't 95rwhp? which = 70rwkw
  7. Yeah $160 for a HD is pretty good. I paid like $135 for an RPM HD and that was a piece of shit - stock PBR's are better!!! Put it this way, my K-T Exedy HDCB is like $460 odd RRP.

  9. Happy B'day. Off to the pub tonight?
  10. Just re-build the 5k buddy. Pretty cheap, can do it in a day/weekend and you've got the skills!!! And then you've got the piece of mind of another 20 years of happy motoring!!!! :P
  11. I'm not explaining carby turbo fuel system etc again. :P Have a good search as I'm sure I've explained this several times on here. Edit: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=17418 If you want early, strong boost get a T25G with a .48 rear housing. Oh, and I'll re-phrase what Irokin and Trev are getting at - "Don't buy a turbo off Ebay that doesn't atleast have GARRETT stamped into the compressor cover". Those T25/28 hybrid turbos don't have the best repuation. :)
  12. When you turn the key off and it keep running a bit this is called "over-run". You might have a bit of fuel pooling in the manifold which would cause this, and also the hunting idle.
  13. Mr "6 posts" that thinks he knows all. :P
  14. :P Geckofabulous
  15. Basically any reg that you'd use for an NA carby car. Somethinglike this would be fine..... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HOLLEY-12-803-FUEL-...A1%7C240%3A1318

  17. Pretty much, and yes they're for car audio. I would invest the money in a decent capacitor (an audio setup like what you have should really include one anyway), and then look into a different alternator if required. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-Rockford-Fosgat...A1%7C240%3A1318 RockfordFosgate FTW!!! :P
  18. It would make it a hell of a lot worse as it gives the diff housing more movement to swing back and forth. Think of it like an upside-down pendulum....which you effectively make longer.
  19. ....you mean you're not supposed to use a rusty nail!!?? :P
  20. Deffinately!!!! :D with a .48, fourth gear 60kmh roll-on - started bosting at 2500rpm and 10psi at 3500rpm. They inhibit top end flow a bit though. Does it still have a stock cam? if so that and a .48 would make for a torque monster like my old CT12 setup. Just spin it to like 5000-5500rpm, grab another cog, and back in your seat you go again. :P

    Club-k

Thats the back of it ....genuine TOMS!
  22. Failure of the front uni can result in the tailshaft working like a Pole-vault under the car. This is the reason some motor sport events make a "tailshaft loop" compulsary - to catch the front, not the back as that'll just drag.
  23. hahaha Yeah "Ned's helmet" got some funny looks and was a bit agricultural, but still worked well. I had the weber on my car for a couple of years befor doing the turbo conversion, and as the Fiat 128 (my bro had a couple) is a 1.3lt jetting was nearly spot on to start with. The Fiat would rev to about 8000rpm though, so this extra fuel came in handy for the turbz. After fitting the TD04 I had it dyno tuned to make sure everything was ok. Small amount of re-jetting and the AFR's were a lot better (was a bit rich befor hand). Can't say it every really had much of a flat spot though!!!
  24. Dare say its leaking fuel because it hasn't been all sealed up for boost or a gasket has given way under boost. I was successfully using a DTMR-A weber off a Fiat 128 Sport L, also the same carby on a Fiat X19 (little ferarri looking things). Loved boost from the get go with no mods. Only thing I did to it was replace the needle and seat with a bigger one from a falcon weber (swap straight over). Ran up to 20 odd PSI (boost guage went to 15psi) on that carb and never had an issue with it. Sold that turbo kit and its still getting around in another corolla. :P Have a look in the first couple of pages of my Tar project thread (Si's 5KTE KE55) for pics of that carby. :D
  25. How does this make you feel Trev?......... http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=QYt28vX954w Don't wanna know what the "first most discusting fluid" is!!! :P Actually a pretty funny movie if somebody want to watch it.
