  1. Will hopefully get this diagram done up tonight for the people who have asked. :hmm:
  2. No its not.......and NOBODY TELL HIM WHY!!!! This information is sooooooooooooo readily avaiable on this site, I think this guy can familiarise himself with the search function!!!! sniff sniff.....whats that...I think I can smell the lock train coming!! :hmm:
  3. Yeah some cops won't notice....cause they don't know what the sound was....some do!!!! I went fishing in my old rolla the other day, pulled up in the car park, got my rod, and walked down to the pontoon (which was like 20m away). First thing the guy on the pontoon said to me was...."that's got a werldy in it hasn't it!?"can pick em a mile away". Get a cop like that and your farked!!! The other point I'll maker about weldys: .......Casually pulled into the car park at the local bottle-o, skip, skip, skip, skip, swang!!!! I now have another axle to change....and that wasn't even doing anything stupid!! :hmm:
  4. You wouldn't want to bring your wags anywhere near me Geoff!.....I've got some "plans" for a ke36 as soon as I get my hands on one. :) Lets just say you could have like a 1/4 of it back!! :D
  5. 7k's have some sort of electronic dizzy....... see if you can't get one of those too! I'd be interested to know what they are..ie, dual pulse etc. :D
  6. I've left the ground hooked up to 87, not too worried about what noise I have, as long as it works and is safe. :) If I PM any diamgrams to people I'll put the ground wire on it. :D
  7. Kickn5k? :D You getting back into K's Daz!!!? That'l be some more competition for us Matt!!
  8. ^Correct.
  9. Yeah no worries Raven. I didn't go into detail of how to do it so we didn't have "kids" trying it with no wiring experience and damaging their engine somehow. If you say are competent with wiring, but not 100% sure on how to do it, I happy to give these people more info but would do it via PM maybe. Anybody who can work it all out from the first post, doesn't need help! :D
  10. Darren - Wouldn't say it neglected, but it hasn't got as much attention as the rollas lately. Gear box is about to let go so that's getting swapped tomoz, then it'll get driven a lot more, as it won't sound like it has straight cuts!! :D It got some new shoes and brakes not long ago...... Nissan feeling - You should be happy - I added the SR bit in #3 just for you! :) Suppose what I really meant by "passions", was more so "passionate aguments"!! ie K vs 4age Fair cop with the BDA Trev. Mind you when you say that, are you thinking of an A series BDA or Cosworth BDA!!? :hmm: \ Here's a vid you might like, there was a link to build pics of this in off topic over 6 months ago. Matt - You're a bloody ledgend mate, will get them in the post on maybe monday. I'll see if I can put another pre-paid post bag in when I send them to you. :) thanks heaps. BTW, how you going with that engine swap!?
  11. Ok there is 3 new much better qulaity video's in this link now. limter-4000rpm tacho, limiter - 4000rpm back, and there is also a very quick one of the grounding idea NickZ mentioned. Yes I know its sounds just the same when its free revving, but when you are actually driving it on load, it is much quieter when the limiter kicks in.
  12. Hey Darren, thanks mate, its come a long way from the early dodgy days when you first saw it on Ausrotary hey? Half of the info I've given out on turbo K's I learnt for you anyway mate!! Cheers, Si.
  13. Hey Mr pron king! I need the little clip/bracket thingy that holds the clutch cable to the clutch fork, can you help?
  14. I'll take a pic of mine and show you what I mean.
  15. Get in line biatch!!! Nah I just gotta decide which of my cars I won't your dad to do first!!!:y:
  16. ae86 rear adj's fit a ke55, thats what my TRD 8 way's are. aw11 mr2 shocks are the right diametre for a ke55 strut tube, but a bit short in the body of the shock so you can just space it out with some washers.
  17. stiffer spring, coilover kit if you wanna go that far, re-set leaves, ae86 adjustables for the back, and aw11 adjustable with a spacer for the front. Might wanna get stiffer sway bars too. [/short answer]
  18. If only we all had a panel beater for a daddy!! :y: Nah good work man. :jamie: I'm of the exact same opinion Raven, but this thing does look really nice now and I have to look at it every day!! 8/
  19. thanks raven. Ended up going out for dinner, so you'll have to wait to tomoz for the other vids. If you've got a shift light josh, come round and I'll hook you up. Just need a relay downstairs. 8/
  20. Done. I'll run down stairs and take befor and after vids and do it now. Hope fully photobucket will work for me...could you see that vid?
  21. wasn't really think factory rev limiters, but after markets ones like an MSD. I am talking about carby cars here anyway as if it was fuel injected its going to have a rev limiter anyway! 8/ So what your saying Nick, is if I've got the negative running through 30 and 87a, then ground 87 rather than having nothing on it?
  22. Yeah mate, I'm breaking the circuit on the negative side of the coil. Learn all out that once when we were trying to put a flame thrower on jade's mr2. We were running the positive side of the coil through a 2 position switch, and wondered why it would just die when switched. Swapped it over to the neg side and it was all good.
  23. good pic Trev, theres one small problem with that setup though. The return from the surge tank to the main tank should be at the very top swapped with the low pressure pump feed. Then you know your surge tank is full befor it starts returning. 8/
  24. yeah first relay i used was like that nick, second one was right.
  25. Sorry guys, couple of issues getting vid working, hopefully should be right soon. Its only a shity 5 second vid anyway.
