An AE82 at an auction is getting pretty scarce these days due to the old car write off policy, Auctions only really look to sell cars no older then 95 altho city motor auctions does often have the oldies, Seen a vw bug there a 3 years or so ago.

Believe it or not the camira ecu was quite adaptable because of how basic it was, The coil would be like that due to the computer system, What do you mean a spark plug cable instead of a coil one? I would be taking the plugs out and giving them a clean or replacing them, Put some pics up aswell. EDIT: Bamboo beat me. Just looked at your sale thread, The coil lead is fine.

So you have asked what sort of cam you should put in your engine without saying what engine you have (4age, yes there is 4 of them), If you really wanna know what cam to use you need to post what you want to do with the engine and the basic specs of it otherwise it is like saying 'I wanna build an engine, What fuel should I use'

The only difference between the z68, z386 & z158 is the B.P.V. (bypass valve) pressure which is the valve in the filter that opens up and bypasses filtration when the filter becomes blocked. EDIT: Damn keyboard buttons getting sticky and making me typo.

MrMopar was only helping and the process of elimination is sometimes the best way around something. Just do a diag and post up what fault codes come up, The dizzy will be the Ne/G signal which is code: 12 RPM Signal * No G or NE signal present for 2 seconds during cranking * Open G circuit * Open, short in G or NE circuit. * Distributor * ECU 13 RPM signal * No NE signal for 50msec at 1000rpm. * Same as Above

Felix is correct altho apparently it will allow a bit more flow.

Check the dizzy/cas wiring as this normally happens: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=23020 If the wiring is broken then the dizzy/cas does not send a signal to the ecu and no spark will occur.

Nah take the wheel off and tie a log to the chassis to act as a skid.

Run a diag and see what faults come up.
