  1. ..all you need is an engineers certificate to make it legally registered and sort out if you can drive it with your local transport authority dunno about WA since I'm in vic, but you need to pass with the engineers cert, find a good one and hell tell you what needs to be done to the car.....ive heard if you stack into another car without having a engineers cert done on the car you can be left extremly out of pocket ......thats my 2 cents just to make ya paranoid as ʞ©$ɟ ;) hahah
  2. yo can we still get our hands on these stickers?? chasing the jap style rollaclub.com in white if you got any pm me with how u wanna get paid mate cheers
  3. Your worry should be the fact the diff gears are carbon steel so it's not as easy as getting your mate Bazza and his $300 piece of shit inverter and just packing the ʇ~~ɔ up with filler rod, but the blokes on here make a good point, no need to put so much science into a dodgy job anyways,my advice is find an engineer shop with welders that have experience in welding cast like the dude above me mentioned...if the dudes in the shop look real old you should be right hahahah or just don't stress and throw ur mate Bazza half a slab hahahah it'll hold up for long enough that's my $0.02 anyways..
  4. Good work mate looks fckn tough+ cleann, I'm in the process of building a ksev that i pick up for $300 of some Farmer in echuca good to see that all this Time nd money will Pay off!! 7. you can grab a haynes manual off ebay for about $30 to your door, search for the car that its in though not " 4k haynes manual" there f@$king grouse got one for my ke70, tells you everything! ...like f@$king everythingggg you could build a whole car from parts and the patience to read the whole f@$king thing......mechanical pornography
  8. hahaha yeeeee boyy, locking diff fixes rust :):) :P :y: :y:
  9. Do the conversion, ull get bored of the guitar after a while ( i did) theres endless amounts of fckn around u can do to the ke which will keep u occupied ,and the satisfaction ull get after its all hummin when uve completed the conversion will greatly out weigh the satisfaction of learnin a new riff or lick , plus u can always bolt on a turbo of go gze if u really get bored ...thats my opion anyways ....note money is a issue here f@$king main thing thats holding me back on 20v'n my kerraza
  10. fcknnn sickkkkkkk hahaha love the way hes revvin it to the beat
  11. nah the photo needs to be rotated 90 degrees when u place the rim on it sags down onto the hub centre and studs etc the rims pictured are actually out of that new batch from toyparts industrie ( 15x8s ) on the front right of a 83 ke70. ..so I'm still a bit confused ,it makes sense though that the taper in the wheel nut will centralise the rim but as for copping the weight? is it necessary to get some of those rings to put load on the hub centre? the question is why do these rings exist if there is no load placed on the hub centre but what philbey has said makes sense , its seems to be the most logical answer....car is going to be set up for drift use so kinda wanna get this right , wheels coming off mid slide=having a shit one boss
  12. yeah there aint any seat in the stud holes at all, gonna have to take some measurements tonight and see what size we need , just had a quick look on ebay and theres plenty on there, as for fitting them well figure that out as we go, cheers lads :)
  13. ahh k thought so , its just someone once told me that it needs to be flush around the centre hub or else all weight is on studs which is bad, cheers for helpin out a noob lads much appreciated will be using the stock ke70 wheel studs which do have the taper so should be smooth sailing fingers crossed, thanks again for the help :) free link to some dumb shit my mate showed me the other day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BWTxyDV60E hahahahaha
  14. soo just got my set of those tpi 15x8s 0 offset in the mail...look f@$king sick will need to flare the f@$k outta the guards as they poke out of em by like a inch lol :P but they don't hit the struts or anything ,my problem is that the centre hub doesnt sit flush in the centre of the rim thus leaving all the weight on the studs ( which arnt too flush in the holes on the rim either, can i fix? and how? please help a brother out...is wheel spacers what I'm looking for? or something else ? any help much appriciated :) :) , have attached a detailed schematic on the problem if it helps :P

  16. hahaha cable tie bandit!! fck yea , you can fix anything with cable ties and duct tape mate haha coming alond nicely, a good mate of mine had a NA s13 auto and he taught himself how to slide in it no worries, was a good lil piggie that thing fckn good luck finding a manual NA one these days for under $8k ?!?!! one suggestion if you gonna stay NA for a bit highly recommend shortening the intake by relocating the battery to the other side of the engine bay and wack a poddy on it ( extra 170 rwkw :) :) ) haha nah but will make it more responsive on the throttle :y: hope it helps keep up the thread

  20. f@$k i love the sight of that ae71 with the 15x8's on it poooorrrnnnn question for the dim witted , waiting on a set of those 15x8's with 0 offset from our good friends at TPI reckon its possible to wrap em in 205/50 's and rape my guards to fit em? or is the offset gonna let me down?, is it a better idea to go with 195/45's? i wanna set up my ke70 for a street possibly track drifter and craving to eliminate the understeer! any help would be much appriciated

  22. Take care with the amount of heat u apply to the panel when welding it as u could distort and bow it ( then your f@$ked ) , also just to let u know u need a high frequency DC welder for aluminum welds , if its just small holes use a metal reinforced fibreglass filler to build up the holes then bog for shape sand primer and paint cheapest and easiest way go on youtube theres heaps of tutorials , pay attention to the little tricks nd shit the oldboys use in the vids they will pay off in the end , hope this helps mate goodluck :)
