  1. Tried the igniter and coil ? Bit of a shame that you can't see what the trouble code is
  2. I'm damn sure those wheels would look a hell of a like nicer on my car  :lolcry:
  3. There's a Rolls (mid 80's from memory) that gets around Noosa done up like that. But it runs on 42's i think. But other then that. Bag it Dump it I'm sure you'd be able to squeeze a 454 :lolcry: in there with a blower in the valley Tinted windows Full custom job with the centre pillar cause of the... Rear suicide doors Chrome the bumpers And a Vivid black duco Low and slow baby Low and slow
  4. I think Cascade Larger is better
  5. Makes me think its more to do with the clutch. Clutch fork bent or worn Dead hydraulic fluid making it spongy Slave cylinder needs an overhaul Or the system just to be bleed It reminds me of the time with my ex's ae82. Had a real bad vibration around the 105km mark. We kept taking the car back to get the wheels balanced this way, that way and every way in between, nada absolutely nada no difference at all till i had to swap the drivers side driveshaft cause it started clicking. SoulSearcher, just like what KE30_KE35_KE55 said with Consumer Affairs, i'd be asking them about it. But by rights any work done on your car (be it mechanical, body, electrical) should be covered by a warranty. Or if you want South Oz Ombudsman to help with pointing you the right direction.
  6. I don't know what to say about it all. But when i use to travel along the story bridge most times i'd sitting with the rest of the traffic at 80-90 and there'd still be cars flashing past. So yeah something like that i'm all for it, but then there's the neglected maintenance on them to keep them speed accurate which the NSW cops are pretty slack on so i can't see the QLD cops being any different.
  7. The father-in-law bought himself an xf wagon about 3-4 years ago that way, something like about $200 or so with 3 months rego and loaded to the hilt with toy shovels, buckets, a couple of tents etc etc. Kept the car (still has the car) but sold all the rubbish from it and made about $300 profit :lolcry:
  8. :hmm: And yet the mexicans want daylight savings :lolcry:
  9. The more you haunt the forums the intelligence you'll gain :lolcry: :hmm:
  10. Oh yeah and the banning of Santa Claus saying HO HO HO HO All cause of some skanky-town bike-tubby arsed-tart-femo nazi-bitch got offended by it
  11. 2008 Lancer crash testing with videos Its mostly american.
  12. True, but the car doesn't look half bad.
  13. Sounds more like wiring faults. Which is pretty likely considering the age of the car. Your brake light/parkers problem could be the wiring in the tail lights. Or its one of the connections that can be traced from under the dash back to the tail lights. A short doesn't always blow the fuse/s. It'll only blow if a circuit is made to ground. EG - Your brake lights shorting out to the tail lights/parkers. The high beam could either be the indicator stalk or the switch on the dash is shorting out.
  14. Nah its all good. Its happened to me as well.
  15. ^^ nice come back dori~ke70 :) See about getting a swaybar for the front and making up two castor blocks (2-4mm) for the rear joints of the front control arms - add some active camber that way. Get the car up on stands and you'll see what i mean.... Get about 1-2mm of toe-out on the rear and 0-1mm toe-out on the front.
  16. :) That could have been me ;) No, wait haven't bought anything on ebay for a while The girlfriend has but thats been girlie crap
  17. Might just try that with me garden ornament :)
  18. There are a few and ones based on the Sunshine Coast and it was started by a teenager... http://www.oztion.com.au http://sexbay.com.au/index.php http://aussiebid.com.au/index.php are just a few But ebays the popular one cause of the publicity that it gets, both in paid adds and free publicity (eg - eBay Items)
  19. Telstra's the same. My grandma had a private number, wasn't in the phone book but it was listed on the whitepages.com.au About the only thing i like about telstra is the mobile phone coverage and thats it and thats the only reason i'm staying with them...... Coverage, everything else about them sucks
  20. Just keep it private, hey 8|
  21. Telstra (aka Bigpond) Was with AAPT. But we were having problems with their resetting of the download limits and didn't like the direct debit thing. We'd still be at dial-up speed at the start of our new month. Not happy at all Thankfully we didn't lock into a contact... Telstra came a long with a "better" deal but we had to lock into a 24 month contact. I wasn't happy with that bit but we were saving some dollars. Now the catch - we've got the same download limit of 12gig but, i think, with a higher speed. So far 9 days into the month, i've downloaded less then what i've done on AAPT and for some reason my download speed has been cut back. Like what the phuck. Had a look on our bigpond page and we're being told that we've reached 75% of our 12gig limit. And about 60% of the useage is in uploading (uTorrent). AAPT i'm pretty sure never included this in their 12gig limit. No wonder people are bitching about Telstra and their limits (only found that out after we signed up) f@$kin wankers On the hunt now to find if there's a cooling out period and move to Westnet or something f@$kin wankers
  22. I believe Alice Springs has a port :( Shipping might cost a bit cheaper that way
  23. Thought it was pretty good. But i'm guessing a "Static Line jump" is like the old WW2 paratrooper parachuting, after re-reading it a couple of times. At first i thought it was practice jumping from a tower or something..... 6000 feet up, like, what the.... Not bad really
  24. The skanky arsed "blacktop" was pretty well much the first of the 4age's. Nothing more then a twin cammed 16v version of a 4a-c motor. 2. I wouldn't even bother swapping the crank over. The blue book that i've got on the 4a-c/4a-ge states that the crank is the same. Same mains and same crank pins.
  25. You wouldn't be able to use the 4age flywheel. 4age's use 8 bolts to hold the flywheel to the crank where as the 4a-c (and f and fe) use only 6 bolts. Thats not counting the mystical 4ag "black top" that has a 6 bolt flywheel. But all-in-all from memory there's a thread somewhere (here or toymods) about the 4a-c rods. As a note - i've used my 4age head on a 4a-f block once. I was told that the combo would have "super" low compression and no power. But i could still spin the wheels etc
