  1. KE5x and under don't use one. No need for it cause of the cart spring rear end
  2. Holy Shit Your kidding, right :D Loved watching him drive. Yep, sad day indeed
  3. Where the wiper motor is you'll find these group of connectors. A - is the the one to test the fuel pump B - is for the diagnostics (engine check light) You'll need a jumper wire to make the connection turn the ignition to the start position. If you've connected the one for the fuel pump you should hear the pump working. If not, your going to have to lift the back seat up (as well as the carpet under the seat) and unplug the connectors there (ones for the fuel gauge, the other ones for the pump). Before going too far with it all just do a test to make sure your getting power to the pump first. If you did have power going to the pump, you'll be getting under the back of the car to drop the tank to get to the pump. Its all fun and games.....
  4. But then again if the same thing happens with the '70 as with the gemini when lowered.... The old owner just could have pressed the bar to get the rear end straight But its better to be safer then sorry. So get something decent for the car to sit on while you climb under for a good hard look see
  5. Slant six ? or 318 ?
  6. Had a fiddle with a demo model last month. Thought it was pretty cool till i managed to break the flip out screen :D
  7. :D
  8. Nar, just wire it start to the battery with a relay and switch in between. Won't have to go turning the lights on that way.
  9. Just about every man and his dog has got a turbo'd 4ag of one sort or another... Quad throttle bodies from a 20v would be good and fit some filter socks over the ram tubes. Pretty the engine bay up with a good wash, some colour-coded aluminum sheeting in key spots, if you've got a blue-top 4age cover the spark-plug wires in the same fashion as the red-top. And ditch the bonnet. Or at least cut it open above the filter-socks and fashion it into a factory looking scoop. Would a side exit exhaust be allowed ?? And have it dumping on the left side just before the back wheel
  10. which is this (circled) plug. What happens with pulling this plug is that your making the relay turn off (so to speak) and closing the circuit to the fans which in turn should come on. If that doesn't work then you've most likely got a stuffed relay got no power going to the fans or their not grounded or the fans are buggered (very unlikely)
  11. :locked: Dish pig dish pig Been there done that too Floor-staff are dumb and stupid and chefs are nothing but pigs in the kitchen well thats where i was, anyway..... Toowoomba drivers and their inability to use a round-about. Half of 'em should move to noosa for around-about lessons ;) Not being able to find what i want when i want and when i do find what i want i don't have the money for it anyway :D "love tapping" a right-lane hogger - 7shades you are my god ;)
  12. Had the same thing happen to me some time back. Putting around town she was fine - except for some rattle from under the car. But give her a boot while driving and it was like a of time - no pick up, no nothing. But give her a few good jumps on the go peddle while on the clutch and she'll match the throttle with revs. Which was odd on its own right cause the problem was that the cat had blew its load and jabbed up the exhaust. And before you start asking if i got a little more power after i punched the rest of the cat out No, no i didn't (seat of the pants dyno that is), but i did make it sound a little more throaty or what ever.
  13. Unless their out of alignment. In some cases also burn the wiring out. But for me. I've been fined a whole 15 bucks for driving with fog-lights on once and giving a "turn them off, now, please" once.... That was before i swapped over to the clear lens and after that nothing. Except late one night when i high beamed a cop car :P "why so many lights???", "cause i do a lot of night-time country driving", "ok, have a safe one." and that was that
  14. :( I'll throw ya five bucks if ya post it to me :D
  15. 2 Litre Fart powered. It was in Fast 4's some time back
  16. No no no NO She's me step-daughter

  18. The girlfriend :P just brought me this for my fathers day
  19. Well, thats ok cause the girlfriend was worried about taking me for long endurance rides and i was starting to get a little frisky, chewing the bit and all. Horses need regular exercise too
  20. You could always pick up the ball that i had when i had me '25. Suzuki G13B twin cam motor from a gti swift, gearbox from a serria and crank/rods from the G13 serria motor. Give the gti's block a wink and a nudge, slide the serria crank into the gti block and you'll have 1.5lt
  21. Mmmm very nice. But width might be a problem instead of weight, length and height. Know of anyone thats got a v8 Disco so that measurements can be taken.......
  22. Yeah dude, stay safe, stay sane and thank you for keeping Australia safe
  23. Yes and no.... imagine if the, say, master cylinder gave out or maybe a brake line got punctured Yep, thank phuck for the back-up cable operated hand brake saved my skin once
  24. And the cops reasoning behind it "Speed was the fault..... An eyewitness told us that the car in question was, quote "doin some insane d1 driftin" and grandma just couldn't handle the power...."
