Well well i was seriously looking into v6'ing my old seca with either the 2.5litre 2VZ-FE or the 3.0litre 1MZ-FE from the camry. From what i could find on the net and some basic measurements (length and width) it would have fitted..... just But all in all i wonder just how close the two models will be in chassis, engine mounts etc - the Scion and the v6 rolla. And how long before someone swaps in the v6

:P Rear hubs are different to the single cam as well so you just can't pull the drums off and replace with the disks.

:P But at least you didn't do the same thing as an old couple did when i was working at a trash recycling center. They brought in this sony trinatron tv (the latest and greatest at the time) it didn't want to turn on for them by the remote so they bought a new one and just dumped the "old" one (around 8 months old from memory), so anyway one of the lads took it home and made about $400 on it cause the old couple didn't check the power button on the tv :P

WHAT can't hear you over the motor yeah yeah muffler you need a muffler and a resonator thingy as well But really a 2" shouldn't be that bad. Might even be an idea to give the motor a tune up

Try more likely a C50 g'box. Didn't the C52 have two starter motor humps and the drive shafts hook up differently in the box Either way it's not from the MR2 so count yourself lucky there

Suzuki Swift GTi block with the Serria crank and bore the block out 60thou That way you don't have trouble with finding a reverse gear and in "theory" you'll be keeping the motor under 1.3litre

By the sound of it you've got a faulty connection/s somewhere. Is there power coming out of the relay for the lights ? This does happen even for Narva relays from time to time. Have you tried with pulling the bulbs out of the lights and "shorting" them to the battery ? Might even be time to invest in a test light or a multimeter

Can't help either with the codes but it sounds like you've got one thats for the AE82. Fits on the shaft, correct with the splines and all just not the depth.

How about the rods from the ke70 wagon ? I can't really see the roof width being much different with the sedan or liftback versions either so that could even be another option.

More or less the same but using less wiring. To get the power for the relay you just splice into the high beam wire at the head light (or if its for fog lights - the low beam wire). The relay won't work till you've closed the circuit at the switch. To find what fuse rating you need Voltage / watts = amps 12v / 100w = 8.33333amp (but use one thats a bit higher due to spikes when the light gets turned on, say 10amp) Same goes with the wiring for the spot/driving/fog light. Where as the wiring for the relay/switch combo you can get away with cheap and nasty speaker wire if you feeling cheap and nasty. The relay itself only draws something around 1-2 amps when its turned on But all in all keep it neat, tidy and have good clean earthing (grounding) points.
