  1. Where are you located? (please add it to your profile too) I have 2 unwanted 4K-C's and a 4speed box for cheap as chips at the moment...in Melbourne. Oh and one of the motors has blown head gasket but that same motor apparently has a rebuilt (exeddy?) clutch.
  2. Awesome. Whenever you see a cheap rolla on the side of the road, you can go to the nearest servo, hire a 2 tonne tandem and tow it on home. :2thumbs:
  3. My cousin told me that people have converted them to RWD. They're powerful enough in the camry, let alone a 900ish kg car...
  4. Was it the US equivalent to our T18 when rolled into the custom shop? Wonder how many they made. Would be the only early rolla that looks sweet with 18 inch deep dish chrome wheels and major lowering.

    Jons Ae71

Tidy ride my friend. How many K's has it done?
  6. Purchased a right hand guard with a few spares attatched:D Bought it mainly for the flat front rad support to make the twin lights easier to fit;)
  7. Reason for selling? I thought you were going to do it up...
  8. They look like you could sleep in them.

    My Ke70

Sweet dude, your car is awsome. Are you going to upgrade the front to 5 stud as well and get a full set of rims? Also what model did the front and rear bars come from, and did they need to be cut much?
  10. Also got these from the same ebay seller Will have to get my hands on a pair of guards for a Mirage or a Lancer (what the indicators are made for) and cut out the housing for the indicators from those guards and re-weld them into the Corolla guards. Will be a pain in the arse to fit but will be worth it in my opinion. I'm going to place them in the location of the 1.6 badge of the AE71 corolla and as I'm using KE70 guards I'll also have to fill in the original indicator holes at the front of the guards. Will also connect the original parkers up as indicators instead as the angel eyes will be the parkers;)
  11. Got these brand new babies in the mail today:D Lightning fast ebay buy, clicked buy now on Saturday arvo, did bank money transfer Monday arvo and they arrived today (Wednesday). Sellers name is "partsnation" and they have two pairs left in case any of you guys need/want them.
  12. How tall are you Matt? The AE86 seat suggestion is a good one. They do (almost) bolt straight in. Just have to modify one bracket it think. I will be doing the same for my project car, 4 AE86 seats set me back $80.
  13. Looks like I wont be able to make it, I've come down with something awful coughing up lots of stuff 'n' things. Cyaz next time. Oh and Gish, the Mini?? How bad? Hope she's OK and you also.

    My New 70

"Good luck, have fun" I'm assuming. Basically he means you can't buy brand new panels. What exactly are you after? I'm sure whatever you are after is available second hand in good nick if you keep looking.
  15. Oh and... -Konig Rewinds 15X7, 0 offset about $1K -Tyres for the wheels $800 at a guess -Undercoat -Paint from a new Mitsubishi Colt (Butterscotch / Light Yellow) $? -Materials for the re-trimming of seats, door trims and new carpet $?
  16. Last week I pulled the engine out of the engine bay, it will be going in to my daily driver as it's done 70,000 less kms and has new bits and pieces like water pump, fuel pump clutch etc..just gotta buy a new clutch master cylinder and a thrust bearing. So my daily will be back to its V6 commodore pwnage self again :P As for further work on the car itself, not doing physical work on it for a while. The car has been taken to my brothers property for now to await the work. As space is scarce around home while my brothers AE86 is getting an engine rebuild, and dad is re-building his HD Holden ute, I will be buying up on parts for the rolla in the mean time. Estimated costs to come... -Another donor early front KE70 (can be a rear smashed vehicle, don't care as long as it's cheap) -Twin headlight front parts from NZ, including headlight surrounds, buckets and stone tray (estimated $200 i hope :y: ) -Front and rear chrome bumpers (estimated $300ish) -E30 BMW aftermarket "Angel Eye" kit $475 -Couple of grand for engine machining work on the 4A-GE and this is all new to me so I have no idea on price but know 2K is a good start (Brother has spent heaps on his 4A-C ;) ) -Aftermarket cams $400 -TRD copy extractors $300 -Will also be spending over $1500 on stereo this time around -Want to get a JL Audio 300W 8 inch sub from the states which isn't available here I'll leave it at that for now it's starting to look scary :P

    The Kesev!

Yeah definately 4 X 114.3 Car looks pretty straight, nice buy.
  18. lol that does sound dodgy, really dodgy
  19. ^^ that looks pure porn. do eeeeet being an E70 series rolla would it be possible to do that using a KE70 boot / pillar section?? As long as it is still registered you could get away with doing the mods and getting engineers cert later;)
  20. Looking good with the primer on. And I'm with them, I recon gunmetal grey would look hot. Just whatever you do don't go teal.
  21. Stuffed around with the good headlight which came off my project car, as it is just an unused extra part. Removed the lens to reveal the 'guts' (excuse over-technicallitynesssss):laff: Painted the surround black Finished product comparison...does it look better? Will probably do the other side and put them in.
  22. Could you somehow hook one up as a hatch lock?
  23. Make that second :laff: Oh wait mines an AE71 so yeah first :laff: *reminds me to finish my custom console* Dash is looking sweet as so far, can't wait to see it all done. Definately far more unique than my plans for my project car.
  24. Has been for ages:P I put those tyres on a while back now, it's something like 10% out, just gotta do the quick maths all the time. A lot easier than when I had my AP5 Valiant. Quick maths = "60 sign" *ummmm "36":laff:
  25. Alright, now...yesterdays work. Difference between stock and Pedders The angle where the spring butts up against itself was shithouse compared to the Toyota sprigs, so I grinded it flat (dad's advice) and it looks a much better fit Before After The empty strut tower Spring in Difference between the stock tyre and tyre size I'm currently running, just thought I'd randomly post this up in the middle And all done in the front (rears doing this week hopefully)
