YR22 Torago is another option, has similarities with the supras of the same era (to get an LSD) Not sure on disc options though. We used a drum-drum in an 86.

Booking Fees when buying tickets. what a crock. Damn middle man (ie ticketec) most likely makes the most money out of anyone involved with putting on a concert.

Following on from what taz said, The really great advantage of an aftermarket ecu is you can get inside and watch it working live and see what its doing, this is fantastic for diagnosis. With a standard ecu its more or less a "magical box" with inputs and outputs, and if you go changing some of those inputs (ie your itbs), you really have no idea what the ecu is going to do with it! hope for the best type thing. Many times ive been passenger in my mates car and ive been staring at a fuel map with the load cell changing a few times a second, engine hesitates, i note which load cell it was, make an adjustment, try it again!

one thing you can do. jump over to: http://www.toyodiy.com find the parts for the ce100, then find the parts for an aus delivered one (AE101 is about that era?) see if they match. here is i think close to what you are on about? http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1995_TOYOTA_COROLLA_CE100-AEMBS_4706.html

Drum brake cylidners can be rebuilt as well. But knowing toyota, its the same part as every other car of that era.

As far as i understand, the problem is that 4 quads don't produce anywhere near the same vacuum signal (MAP) as the standard inlet manifold. In saying that though, a MAP signal is only good for about the first ~3% of throttle possition, after that its all over the shop and i belive that the ecu then relies on the TPS signal more I was actually helping a mate wire up a bigport engine on the weekend, which had 4 quads on it. It "came from japan" with an apexi SAFC, which as far as i can tell all it does is interupt the map signal, and sends the ecu a modified map signal based on TPS position and RPM. Unfortunately we had blocked injecors so i couldnt have a play, but i hope to in the future, I never played with a SAFC before this seemed damn simple to wire up though. Whats the cost on an apexi SAFC? if you can get one cheap as it might be worth giving it a go, but the reality is a full aftermarket ecomputer will always be a better option as the SAFC doesnt do anythign with the ignition advance, which is where your power is made.

Hey mate, Alot of those vac lines are for random emissions stuff. if you arent too concerned about getting a 27yr old emissions system working, then just block any of those lines off. if the engine is running fine, the main goal is just making sure you have no vacuum leaks. So yeah hook it up like the 3k, block anything that doesnt have a home, and see how it goes. i went the other way a few yrs back, I put a 3k carby on a 4k to simplify everything.

awww I even get a mention for what i thought wasnt that much help at all! more getting in the way and asking dumb questions! Though i did find those loose bolts on the leone....and they stayed tight even after it hit a tree! RIP Leone :(

yeah those numbers are quite extreme... id start with: -zero toe -around 4 to 5 deg + castor -1.5 deg camber. Thats a fair amount of castor so will give you heaps of camber when you turn the wheel anyway. Too much castor makes the car UBER twitchy at high speed, and too much camber gives you less grip in a straight line especially in the wet!

interestingly if i put that equation into my scientific calculator (casio FX-82) as it is (using the fraction function for the slash) it gives an answer of 9. If i replace the slash with a divide command, it gives an answer of 3. Seems, like hiro mentioned, the calculator treats the divide differently than the fraction button in tems of order of doing things. Seems as soon as the fx-82 sees a slash it treats the numbers either side as "number". in this case 6/2 = 3

I think it needs more info to be clear.

Complete t series with an LSD tends to go for about $1200, so I would just buy a standard diff, throw it in and save for the LSD.

Both katrina and I had pretty much nothing when we got married. she was living at home, and i was in a share house and the other housemates owned most of the stuff. we didnt even have a queen bed! Engagement presents were pretty random, but we got alot of useful stuff. we went the gift registry for wedding, that worked well, we pretty much got enough kitchen stuff from presents. We took back a few presents that we didnt want or need and exchanged them for useful stuff. We got alot of gift vouchers which helped in buying more house crap as well. Though agreed no idea what to buy people that already have a house setup and don't particularly need anything.

Sms is great if used correctly, and its convenient. Alot of people seem to lack the ability to write a concise to the point message though. lately ive gotten half way through a sms and thought "ah bugger it, ill just call". Maybe I'm getting old too...

What about a repeat of the nebo cruise from the beginning of this year? that worked well. Drive over nebo, over to mt glorious a stop over in that picnic ground, then down to samford bakery for lunch.

Anyone else get up to check out the eclipse? We had about 80% here in brisbane @ 655am. i stood there lookin like a fool with my welding mask on. Down at the wynnum forshore i was, not a cloud in the sky. interestingly once it got to about 645am, there was not enough sun to activate my auto darkening welding mask! Luckily i bought my standard non-auto helmet as well. Was quite an impressive sight to see, really quite a weird sensation as it started to get dimmer and colder, then warmed up again as the eclipse passed....

what have you done too my poor differential :( reed: its some sooped up 20V. GT500: Welding a diff just destroys them, you could ask a proper diff shop about a spool peice for the standard diff, never tried it myself.

Depends if you need to torque something.

Where from? Katirinas was aroung $1400 i think. They then proceeded to order it too short so she had to buy new shoes that were flat. They then blamed it on katrina for not asking for extra length, katrina proceeded to inform them that they are the dress people and they measured her up and they ordered it. Pay big bucks, spend a few hours getting measured, and even then they don't take responsibility!!! All worked out in the end though.
