sounds fuel pump related to me. my car was doing this crap after ~20mins of driving, leave it sit for 5mins, would go for another 20mins. fuel pump was had it.

i tend to agree with you. but on the other hand, its not doing the police any favours really. decision: Do i take my car to QR racetrack where i can legally drift and have fun (or even just watch), but there is probably going to be a defect station? (where i might get harassed and fined even though the car is legal) Or do i take my car to the top of mt nebo at night time where there is slim to no chance of a defect station. You can see why people take the second option :S

Updates! everyone likes updates. spot the new shiny bit in this photo? Ignore the power lead.... Head is back on as of last night. have had a set back, grandpa was for some reason against the idea of coolant, only used water. Therefore, anything copper/brass in the cooling system is rusted...badly.... so ive got a few bits i need to replace, the main one being this coolant manifold thing that connects to the back of the water pump. Here is a reproduction one, but for the price I'm not too keen, ill try and track down a decent OEM one i think. http://www.suzistore.com.au/shopexd.asp?id=441 Radiator is pretty had it as well, on the hunt for a second hand one atm. water pump appears to be in ok condition, just full of muck. ill try clean it before i get a new one. Luckily the head and block appear to be pretty good for corosion, a bit of evidence of it, but quite minor.

Katrina bought some expensive dress from myer, price tag of $280, on sale for $180. Black and white. Wore it once, took it to the drycleaner, the colour ran. The white bit is not exactly white anymore, more white with black smudges. Not even a big price tag buys quality.

I watched that mighty mods episode as well. I was quite suprised how well that turned out to be honest! especially how much they spent on it i can't think of a way it would be illegal as such, but i can only imagine it will attract the wrong attention.

R32 = IRS ke30 = live axel. Not sure how you would use an R32 one.

yeah i only had the 3.9 wiht my 4k 4 speed and t50 5 speed (195/50/R15 tyres) it was alright for highway and putting about, could have done with a 4.1 for enthusiastic driving though. Especially up hills with the 4k!

i don't get it... Distributers are set and forget on these things. what was "almost touching"? its supposed to be almost touching as its a hall effect type thing if i recall. if the head has been shaved in its life, then this will effect the cam belt/timing markings as the distance between the crank and cam change

i have a feeling this is already somehow wired into the system. starts on 12V that chunky resistor drops it to 9V or something.

can anyone tell me what front grill/bonnet/whatever is on this ke35? is it an overseas only thing?
