  1. So last week I got the "good" idea to re-clean and polish up the lip of my rims. 5 days and about 15 hours later, I finally got them polished up and sprayed in clear. NEVER doing it again. Would much rather pay someone to do it properly than to go through it again. :D Pretty happy with how they came up though, not perfect by all means, but still cleaner than what they were. Picture here Talked to the tuner and he hopes the car will be ready this weekend....
  2. Awwwesome looking wheels you have coming  Will look unreal when they are fitted. Nice plans on the 7age too. Should give it a little bit more kick. Good luck with it all  Edit: My bad haha. I do hope that both turn up :D
  3. This is what Adam means but in a picture:
  4. I had heard that Westpac/St George and ANZ(?) had removed their charges? Not sure if it is true as I havn't seen it for myself, but I hope it is true.
  5. Ahhh Happy B-day Justin! Have a good one, hope you have tomorrow off work :lolcry:
  6. Happy Birthday :y:
  7. Search
  8. I was unaware that loosing control of your corolla and crashing it was part of being a rolla veteran. :y: If that is the case, I am certainly not one.
  9. I think "Kebin"(?) may have been the user name. And it was a Black top 20v in it.
  10. ^ Don't know what tuner you have, or how you use it, but for the C on the E set the tuner to Ebbbb then for the rest just have it on ebb. Probably is what you have been doing, but I thought I may as well say it anyway :( And if you restring, get Elixir strings, they are awesome and last along time without tarnishing. (Handy if you decide not to play guitar for a while again). Good luck with the playing though, guitars are awesome :). WGMG: Being out at a job site which is all fine dust everywhere, then out of nowhere having a huge rain downpour turning everything into a massive sludge resulting in Falcon near bogged and the trailer laying in wait for the 4wd Hilux to pull it out. Rain and mud can definitely turn a good mood into a bad one especially when you have to keep going inside and outside constantly. On the upside, altleast we finally got some rain here. Been over a months since it last fell.
  11. The nearest Kebab shop? :locked:
  12. Ta  From talking to the guy who is working on them, he said they are going pretty well now, and that the only problem is that one of the carbs needs the butterflies replaced as the original owner of the carbs had for some reason removed them and in doing so burred all the edges and basically not causing them to seal very well on the throats. This inturn is causing it to not return to idle as fast as it should when off the throttle. I am taking his word on it as he seems to know his shiz with DCOE/DHLA carbies. Used to rally a hot little 1600 with twin Webers etc. It's just a little bit annoying how the work is being done out of town as I can't go there myself and see it in person. I just don't want to get it back and it still drive like a pig (flat spotting etc). Will see how it goes when it is back in my hands. Anticipation is killing me :locked:
  13. Well, it has been few and far between updates as usual, but I am expecting the car back from being tuned sometime next week. Hopefully it will be a good tune as the guy has had it for the last 6 weeks, but as long as it works well, I will be happy. Gave up on searching for a front pair of rims to match the rears I had purchased so I sold the 8.5s to a friend to run on his 1600. Main reason was also because a full set of Hoshino Impul Pro-Mesh wheels came up for sale and at a price I was happy with. Specs are 15 x 7 -2 for the fronts and 15 x 7.5 +5 for the rear. I am happy with them but will be happier when I can fit them to the car. I guess that's it for now. Will have videos up once the car is back in my hands :locked: -Alex
  14. "McNuggets...are sold in more than 100 countries and often are dunked in barbecue or hot mustard sauce." Hmmm and all this time I was using sweet and sour!
  15. I think it looks pretty good. Very bright, but good  This <click> is the only real close colour scheme I've seen. Not 2 tone, but has the bright green.
  16. 7Shades strikes again.
  17. Mmm to me they both are very similar. They both have unnecessary ghey exhausts. They both have unnecessary large spoilers etc. Sure they are slightly differently inspired, but their wack cosmetic modifications look just as bad as each other. But as I said, each to their own. As for Aus Bosozoku cars, I saw a few pictures of a black TA22 which was border lining the Boso style. May have been on AE86DC? :)
  18. Ahhh righto then. No worries :)
  19. Myself being from Wagga as well, mind if I ask where this 1200 hectare property is? Just out out curiosity that is all. Is it out Oura way? Edit: Feel fre to PM rather than post publicly if you want to keep the location under wraps.
  20. Bosozoku is just plain dumb IMO. It's called "rice" if it is on a Civic and gets bagged to hell, but if the japs do it, then it is the coolest thing going. That being said, the wheels on the above car are a nice size. I think that amount of dish looks better than the 1' on the top photo of the Sakuras. Each to their own I guess :)
  21. I've had my phone for about 4 years now. Some random Sharp one and I havn't had one problem. It is pretty much useless for photos and videos, but I can answer calls and send messages plus I can drop it and it will work fine (tested maaaany times). Cost me like $200 and is great. I think nowadays there is just too much stuff being crammed into a mobile phone. Just gives it move reasons to have problems. I like my brick :D
  22. I wish some of that rain would come to us people down south :D
  23. $50 - $500. Depends on condition, work done to it, and how much the seller is after. If it is just a stock as a rock, ready to run engine, I'd say around the $200 mark. If it is tired and in soon need of a rebuild, then it'll be worth less etc.
  24. LRS for PM? Was quite an epic speech just there. Couldn't agree more with it too.
