Heres a rusty relic I found over the weekend. Its still on the road on a Moreton Bay Island.

Holy cow all the misinformation. Adm - 4ac motor, t50 box with slave on passenger side of gearbox, non vented front rotors, 2014 calipers, S series diff with drum brakes. Ugly grill, only came in levin style. Only came in hatchback. JDM - 4ageu motor, t50 box with slave on drivers side, vented front brakes with 2022 calipers, T series diff with either discs or drums and either an lsd centre or open centre. T282 is 4.3 T series but its also open centre. If it was t283 it would be a 4.3 lsd. Had trueno pop up fronts and levin fixed lights. Also came as a 2 door coupe. The taillights differ. Some parts of the interior. Does it have a speed chime in the dash? If you want the definitive answer get the particulars off the build plate and ring Toyota.

I think if you want big brakes, you cannot go past the Techno Toy Tuning big brake kit for ae86 struts. 280mm rotors Vented, slotted, drilled Wilwood calipers and a cnc piggyback adapter. The exchange rate is bad at this time but when its good, the kit is very cheap. 7. You are not allowed to "bump" (reply) or revise your item more than 2 times in any week or your item(s) will be removed. Excess "bumping" is unnecessary and very annoying. No bumps are allowed within the first 5 days of posting your item. That's right, but it becomes difficult when there are several people to answer to all at once, who all want pictures. I was going on holidays for a week on the 13th and had to do what I could for people before I left because members were already asking for pictures. I admit I bumped it early in the week. I let it go for 6 days after that which I thought was fair. Ended up twice in a week as the rules state, and I published all the photos people wanted with the early bump. I reckon if you just measure the holes' diameter in the cover and the thickness of the metal then you could just go to repco or somewhere and find a similar one that will do the job. Id be surprised if you couldn't find one. Love diggin... :P

You can still buy superlites new from performance wheels. There are lots of watanabes floating around, there were some for sale on rollaclub a while back, wasnt sure if they sold. There are Konig rewinds also which look similar and can be had new from techno toy tuning. Other japanese wheels like the ones I posted before are usually imported secondhand but with the 80s cars being popular toys at the moment there are quite a few styles now available new again. I believe you can get new ssr mark 1 2 and 3, new cherry blossoms, new hayashi wheels of all types. Yes, your instincts are correct, they don't suit the car at all. They aren't terrible rims but they aren't right on the 30, that's for sure. So anyways, the PCD is 4x114.3. That means Nissan, Mazda and Toyota RWD 80s cars, or old Triumph wheels but I think we need wheels wider than 4 inches. One of the neatest looking inexpensive options is to get the 13x5.5 stock ke70 csx rims, or some old hotwires on there. If you want a bigger diameter then maybe some superlites would look good? There are lots of wheels available that may suit. I've never seen a ke30 with black watanabes but I think it would look good...

I have this issue with big sigs too, but there is a thread for that.... Pleas shrink to 800 pix wide, the rules say bigger, but common sense says smaller. Poor 56k users getting too much coffee...

At some point you're going to have to leave the computer behind, go outside, pop the bonnet and have a look for yourself. Buy a manual to help ID all the bits you need to modify. Buy a gauge and look at its wiring diagram to see how to connect it. I think most people here are tired of spoon feeding you the right answers, only to have you rebut us with reasons why you don't want to listen to the answers. How many experienced corolla enthusiasts do you need to tell you what to do before you go do it. :y: I'm over it. As far as I'm concerned I'm not gonna offer any more help until you get off your butt and fit a temp gauge. All your doing by hiring an auto electrician to fix the old gauge is turning a $60 dollar exercise into a $500 one. I mean hiring an auto electrician to test a sender is stupid when a new one is under $20. You will find even if the factory one works as intended it wont work with any aftermarket gauge, that's why you need the same brand as the sender as I told you before but you seem to have failed to grasp. Aftermarket senders are usually 1/8 npt thread which is tapered. Thats how they seal, with a taper. A factory ke sender is around 5/8 inch so all you have to do is spend $5 or less on a brass adapter from the same place you buy the gauge. Good luck.

Start by reading the FAQ. That will give you some more specific ideas perhaps. Bigger K motors like a 5k will swap in pretty easy. Its pretty hard to drift properly with the mighty 28rwkw 4k engine. A 5k is a bit better, but not much chop either, a 4a can get the job done, just. Make sure you add the biggest swaybars you can find. Toyota Tercel rear swaybars fit in a ke70 and they are 17mm thick. :y:

You know I have this problem with yours Trev. I have a 22 inch wide lcd and yours is still off the screen Trev. Its width more than height that makes it a pain for me as I have to sideways scroll to view every sentence and to hit add reply and whatnot. I can't force you to change it but I can ask.

I was in Mackay for work early December but didn't spot any rollas. I helped put the shopfront on the new Comminos store next to the old one. Hopefully you can recruit some new members. Where does 7shades live again? Hes in north QLD.
