  1. Hardly, but I have eyes I don't mind using.
  2. Hey Cuzzo, its generally smarter to wait till you've used a product for some time before giving glowing reviews. Noltec offer camber and caster adjustability and a choice between rubber and rigid mountings too. Not bad at all. If someone has a quality issue with T3 products then they should contact Gabriel Tyler at Techno Toy Tuning, not talk shit on the net. Seen it many times before. Have a little faith. I've dealt with him and its been very positive. He even sent me my stuff before I made payment once, hows that for service from an overseas supplier?
  3. No better than NSWs' ones in game one. don't you get the feeling they try to ref for a decider?
  4. Q: Whats the best thing about NSW? A It keeps Victoria away from QLD. Bahaha. Seriously though, what a pizzling. No wonder the southerners have gone quiet. How good was Inglis' fend on Gaz and that other powder blue pansy to set up the first try? Ill answer this one, amazing. Love how he runs with full stride and only fends at the right moment. Best thing was the banner at the end that read: "Not bad for a bunch of rednecks eh Willie?" Anyhow, we are all set up for a game three result and thankfully the ref didnt get too involved last night. Id never seen a team be allowed to play offside for the whole game like NSW was in game one. Nice to see hes been reprimanded and handled by his superiors for it. BRING ON GAME THREE!!
  5. Look outside Sydney? Tassie is full of T-18s. I find it hard to believe that there aren't any. You're not looking for the parts most people raid off them anyhow.
  6. Corona struts will be heavier too. AE86 are a bit lighter.
  7. Sounds a bit better. Might need to do over at some point. See how clean the coolant stays this week. A re-core would do wonders.
  8. If the backyarder/oldschool trick is reoiling the shocks, I don't see anyone doing that in their backyard. In general thats how motorcycle damping is reset, and the principles I'm sure will apply to automobile suspension. Not an easy or cheap thing to do. Most cheap shocks aren't rebuildable either. As stated a bazillion times already, there are very few decent types of shock absorbers available for the smaller size ke70 struts. You will want to use AE86 struts or XT 130 or T18 units to achieve the ability to fit decent shocks in the front. Once swapped you can have Konis, TRD, BilStein, Tokicos, etc. If you are happy with Gabriel or Monroe inserts then leave them alone. You do realise Corona struts give a slight brake upgrade too? Very important! Try VB Commodoore shocks in the rear, they will let you cut off a couple of coils and still have the springs captive and safe. Cut standards are all you really need for a grippy rear end. I agree with Redwarf on the swaybar issue. Change springs and shocks first and see what you think of it.
  9. Bahah, cheeky. Anyhow, I was chasing some parts and I happened to talk to a guy called Alan Taylor. He is From the rising sun car club. He is the honcho who puts together this event and was the one who informed me of the date change. His number is 0416 312 189. Avoid the confusion created by internet forums and talk to Alan directly. Hope to see you all there. I'm gonna bring the red car.
  10. Are you watching an aftermarket gauge or a 20 something year old factory one. If youre still using the factory one, please fit a decent one with actual numbers to read. Check the condition of the radiator like old mate said. Run muckowt through it and change thermostat to be sure. Good luck cuz, other than the basics which apply to all motors, I know SFA about T motors.
  11. Yep. Nice 2x4 holding up the bonnet. Looks kinda like Oak.
  12. Fully Sick!! Love the fleet.
  13. I used to get 10klm/litre around town, and 13 on the highway with my vs.
  14. You're all speaking as though hes passed away. Hes still out there building his rollas. Just not showing us any of it. His deletion was at his discression. Bit of a shame, this thread was good. Life goes on I spose.
  15. Impressive use of resources. Nice car especially for 4k. :lmao: Welcome.
  16. Des is back in the game oh yeah!
  17. It'd be good if you could describe exactly what the config of the car is first for us, and add some descriptive photos, happy to lend any help I can to you. TPS may be faulty or not calibrated well. Also, have you got all the facilities of the efi system connected properly, knock sensor, icv, the lot? If its running pretty smooth and still gutless, it may be running in a trimmed safe mode, which it will default to when a sensor dies or is not present. Perhaps find someone with the same motor and swap sensors one at a time and evaluate the change. Has the manual above been of any use? Id say photos would be handy. Reach under the quads and flash one off, there is vacuum stuff under there which needs attention sometimes, and id like to see whats up with the icv and the knock sensor. If it were a simple vacuum leak or something like that it would be fine under load in most circumstances, but shit at idle. Yeah definitely need pics.
  18. John, Please come, noone else knows the route!!!
  19. That ol chestnut sells a lot of steering racks.
  20. Nothing. And I know for sure.
  21. Dope. That is all.
  22. Techno Toy Tuning. Ring Gabe. He will make a set for you custom if you can't get them off the shelf. Reasonably priced too. http://www.technotoytuning.com/
