Ill start by saying don't flame me! Rego runs out end of this month, and the ke25 being my daily i can't get in and fix things unless i can do it in 1 day (which is rare for me to have one free) so I'm limited to hardly being able to do anything to the car. So my thoughts were let the rego expire and pull the car down and rebuild it, full respray, replace & upgrade suspension, lower it a little, upgrade the engine (5k or something more sinister), driveline upgrade to go with it, and possibly adding some te27 features. I'm not out for a show car just a nice presentable streeter thats unique. And i want the rust to be gone (as time has gone on i have found more....and more faults) but again I'm only thinking about doing this. If i was to go ahead with this then i would be driving the streets in a fwd celica in its place and wouldnt have a rolla to cruise around in. But my main reason for posting this is to find out, what will peoples reactions be to this? I'm still in 2 minds. Cheers Jake

I was at superlap, Saw this thing in action but it is nothing compared to this Yes they are brembo's on the front. This thing was chasing down some of the r32's and r33's down the straight and wasnt too much slower around the corners, frequently exited corners sideways. But yes the r35 is cool! There were 2 more r35 GTR's parked in behind the pits....engine bay looks awesomely schmick!

That brings a tear to my eyes to see that, But in all honesty it only really damaged the door and shell. the guards, boot, front end, bonnet, tail lights are all still intact so all the harder to get parts are still ok...still hurts to see one like this, especially one so nice. What sort of insurance did you have on it? Comprehensive?

Agree with the Nick Skitz Skitzmix, It has some really good bass, Scooter has had a few good ones (they wear thin after a while) There was a cd that came out called bassline (wild) its not too bad either. There is plenty of doof out there to choose from.

Gavclassic has quite a few....he is keeping the challenge going for us down in nsw and if i had my way i would have many more than i do now.

Yeah ive been there the past 2 years and with any luck ill be there again this year. I saw the orange ke20, had a quick chat to the fella, he was camped right across from me and my mates. He had problems with it (coolant leaking) so he didnt get a proper run. But i never saw the ke30 2 door the year before. And i saw the orange levin also. He is a member on here. If i go up next year ill definately take my ke25 for a run.

On the broken hyundai topic, there has been a rise in crashed excel's around Bathurst lately. Every single one of them ive seen, have had their corner indicator housings, lens etc fallen out and hanging by the electric cables. They still work. WTF?????? is this a design feature to save them from having to be replaced? or are they just stuck in the car dodgy as hell?

Hey all, been looking at a few 3k's lately and also had a few people look at mine that have seen a few aswell, and my engine number is located in a different spot as apposed to all other 3k's i have seen. What (if any) is the difference between the two? Pictures attached for reference cheers Jake

Gavclassic has a 7k in his ke17, so i don't think power at high speeds will be a drama. (from memory he is going to be using it for circuit work) correct me if I'm wrong though cheers
