I think most of us are still here. Tiger and I have put of go-karting/cruise/gathering till a later date as bookings are very limited.

I replied to this in the KE** section. If you don't want to purchase a whole rebuild kit, then you could buy some gasket paper and cut it to suit.
-
Without actually seeing the pic, i can tell you that there are rebuild kits for most weber carbies. They cost about $50-$70 from most auto parts shops. I used to buy mine from a local carby reconditioner. Silicone generally doesnt work well with petrol. The petrol will soften the silicone and will pretty rapidly perish it.

You mean this bloke. Click I don't condone it, but it was bloody funny when he pulled over the biker and give him 2 thumbs up. *WARNING* This video contains Schlongs.

I agree with you. I was laughing at the ironacy of the situation (viewing it from an illegal rally standpoint). I think I could have worded it better. But, its all good. :D Have you ever seen people driving around wearing bike helmets, or constrcution worker hats? I used to think "what a dope", but then i realised there are people that "have" to wear them as the smallest knock could severly injure them. Thats a whole other topic though.

But not as much attention as your current horn though. :D

Yep, I have no life too. As wrong as that is, its also bloody funny.

These are a few quotes that i found on other forums. So i'm not 100% sure on the truth of them.

I've always wanted to go to the Temora Aviation Museum, so maybe i'll pull my finger out over the Christmas break and get up there. Its only a shortish trip over to your neck of the woods.... Well kinda.

Fair Point. Thanks. I have to work both days this weekend, so i wont get a chance to rub it back and buff it. Another week to harden the paint will probably be beneficial anyway.

I have got a Twin SU manifold to suit Datsun L Motors, sitting next to me. I've also got a complete pair of 1.75" SU's in the back shed. You interested? You know you are. :jamie:

Yep, they do. I am currently running one. I believe they were found behind the Automatic Corolla's.

I've seen some strange and funny ebay adds in the past, but this one takes the cake. Ebay Take the time to check out their website. Make sure your speakers are on though.

Thanks guys. Body work is one thing that i have the skills and patience for. I find panel repairs and spraypainting to be THE most rewarding task. Thats not to say that I want people to smash into my car, just so i can feel a sense of accomplishment. :jamie:

On Friday night after doing some shopping I found that someone had touch parked/smahed!! into my car, in the car park. The prick has obviously driven off and hasnt even left a note with his/her details. I suppose thats bloody typical of people these days though. My car is my pride and joy, so Saturday I got started working on her. I hammered out the damage (the gaurd was dinted 10-15mm inwards), so it was a decent hit. My bumper was pushed back onto the gaurd, causing another dint to the front gaurd. The bumper has a few scratches and a small dint. So a few hours later it was bogged up, blocked back and in primer. Sunday morning after letting the primer harden over night, I blocked it back and applied the top coat. So its all fixed now, and back as good as new. The damage caused really got on my nerves, but the cowardness and dishonesty of the culprit got on my nerves even more. I believe in Karma, and lets hope the culprit gets his/her share of it. Heres a few progress pics. My good camera is on loan, so heres a few lesser quality pics from my cheap camera. I'll let the paint harden for a week or two, and then block it back and buff it.

So who's got a spare S/C for your mate Kanga? :jamie: Nice work by the way. I never get sick of seeing the that priceless look of defeat on ones face.

I wonder if rob notices the plates on the van/gangster people mover. I like the Tiger airbrushing. Very well Done. The Supra's airbrushing I like too. Not too keen on the body kit though. Then theres the women. Mmmmmmm. -
Go The Soccer-roos!!!!!!!!
kangaroosa replied to TOMsGPTurbo's topic in Rollaclub Social (Off-Topic)
Soccer is one sport that i never usually watch. But i tuned in for the second half and couldnt turn it off. I think i just wanted to see the faces of the Uruguay supporters if they lost. :lolcry: The Goalie was awesome, and Viduka was very average. -

The link is not working for me. :D Not sure if its the one i've already seen...........but do the cops try and chase him for a second or two. Eventually he gets away. *EDIT* I just watched Rendevous, and i hadnt seen that one before. The Squeeling tyres got on my nerves a bit, and he didnt seem to be going hell for leather either. Still a great movie though. The movie i am thinking of is part of a series. Its on the tip of my tongue.

Very Impressive. The gap around the steering wheel is pretty squeezy. One of my all time favourite Rally clips can be found on Limewire. Just search for "Climb Dance". Its a Peugeot at Pikes Peak. Its about 68mb.
