i spotted my ke20 tailing me across town on sunday. everyone was rubber necking to get a better look of the big and the little 'fireball' toyotas.

yeah, it's one or the other, not both. while the 20 is "much-o fun-o" to drive, it's got nothing on the crown. and until this time next year, i don't really have the spare hours to swap stuff around and play with shit on the 20. it'll be hard seeing it go, but i'm sure a nice country drive in the whisper quiet crown will ease my heart. and besides, the crown is just the ke20's grandpa.....can you see the resemblance??

can you teach me how to drive two cars at once bernie??! soo much cleaner than my white wagon :P

if it was any wetter/muddier, i could well have been beached out there in the mud. 5 turns lock-to-lock doesn't help much either.

for those that are up for some whale watching/spotting, there'll definately be one visible along the GOR this trip...

a small photoshoot out the back of my parents place. they've finally sold the land to some developers (some 30 odd years after my parents built their place in the background of the last pic) dF

grab a long hook and just pull the bugger out. you can take the dust cover off too to make things sooo much easier. to install the new seal, smear a bit of gearbox oil around the outer edge (and inner edge too if you'd like). line it up and put a large socket (the same size as the seal) behind it. gently tap the socket with a hammer so the seal ends up flush with the gearbox output.

all the external mirrors he can get. drivers door, passengers door and fender mirrors :)

given they're +30yo, you just gotta pay what they're sold for. anywhere up to $300 for some pristine condition ones.
