He would like to turbo charge it, but i think his best beat would be to go for something larger to achieve what he wants.....
-
Its the 1.6l 4AFE, has anyone ever had any dealings with these engines? Are they any good?...... He could just turocharge this engine, but it would be a lot more work than a turbo upgrade for the 4agze!
-
Thats cool, so if i could find one of these over here in australia, would everything pretty much match up with where the standard cross member would go???? Its very interesting...... They are a bit heavy though, ive heard, but i can get my hands on a 4agze with ke30 engine mounts, just needs a rebuild....
-
Thanks for the info Grimwolge, is there a certain reason why you say this? Do the 4As bolt up or do it take a bit of mucking around... If they do, it would be great to bolt up a 4agze and whck a turbo on it!
-
Do you have one of these???? How much!!! As scary as it sounds - I'm EXCITED! :D If you can give me price, including postage, ill pay it! Shipped to brissy will do... MORE, THAN INTERESTED

Hey, as i mentioned once before, my mate just brought a 1999 toyota seca and he decided that he wants to be more quicker, or GONE as he states it! Ive googled it and the best possible solution is that the toyota starlet turbo engine should bolt up fairly easy....... but he doesnt want to lose displacement..... He really love a 4age turbo but its guna cost him.. Does anyone know of anyone else who has done any upgrades to one of these models?? I'm sure it would be alot of messing around to get it turbo charged - roughly $10k... Thanks :D

ATM i need two things actually!.... 1) The bracket that holds up the spare tyre 2) hatch hinges - coz mine are stuffed and i am using custom holden wagon ones atm... Thanks! :D
-
Well, after a few image differing modifications, the ke36 wagon was left as a daily driver.... Now, after a stupid - FULY SIK SKID! unfortunately the engine is on its way out.... :D Time for the little girl to be stripped back to a bare shell, and treated to what it deserves! :D Upcoming: - Rust Repairs - Full Clean & Inspect + New Paint! - New Mags 15 x 7 Front - 15 x 8 Rear - New Engine! :bash: TOUGH 5K Stay Tuned....... :D
-
Just make an offer on the T25..... I was going to use it on my 5k..... It is a nice sized turbo and if set up right, it would make some really nice useable power! :D

I like it! :D

WOW, what a thread....... YOu can tell that the Initial D thing really has lead to false things, like the whole story of the young kid trying to get down the mountain the fastest way....... NAH AH.... Even though the rally drivers do slightly DRIFT through certain corners... they only do so because its a better way round then a sharp u turn.... The best way to solve the situation is to hire out the game, road rage 3.... purpose built drift game.... or even most driving simulation games.... - play two player and one person sets up for drifting and the other for circuit racing, and battle and see who comes out first..... I agree with ALMOST everyone..... drifting is slower - its more or less just a hsow off sport! :D But we can all agree that drifting in the wet for a bit of fun never hurt no - one...... :P
-
Most definately agree with grimwolge...... like, FULY SIK! - Nice ride dude........ :P
-
Ill sell you my t25! Sounds fun, can't wait to see pics!

My rolla used to have a great squeking fan belt, but it only happened whieldrifting in the wet....(we can all relate to that!) I just put sume soap on it or some lubricant of any sort...... and now stay well away from water puddles........ :)

Did you ever see the one over in America for that place???? Um, the alien zone :) ...... Thats it - AREA 51! my mate found it and you could see all around it, and aparently they shut that part of it down..... :D

Well, what are your thoughts on the quick shift auto's in the new fords (dirty word) and the steering wheel shift pads in the bimmers and new commodore.....?
-
Personnaly ive saved to buy a newer car, but after a while thats not what i want..... Id rather throw it all at a project rolla and be proud to drive it, even if i couldnt keep up with anything...... + like one of the boys said - you could spend heaps on suspension, engine, accesories and if the car rusts to death or is injured then you just buy a new shell and switch it all over - the greatest thing about rollas! ..... my .02c

Corollas are now my life and always will be.... and i am a big fan of the old skools! i have always had a thing for being unlike the majority, and although it would be cool to get a silvia and bolt on all this cool stuff, why would you be any different from anyone in hot 4s cept a selected few? my corolla is built how it is because i wanted to be different! ke's are the toughest little cars and k's, the nicest little engines... i would never step up to a newer car, i couldnt leave my old corollas, i would have to have an old ke20 with all the mod cons that i would need... i definately agree with teddy - rust, squeeks, rattles, funny smells, broken stuff..... HOW COULD YOU LIVE WITHOUT IT??!!! I always wanted to find poeple with the same passion as me, look what i have got myself into! :)

www.netwiz.net/~tcar/corolla.html This site is just what i needed, THANKS...... Gota love the old corollas!

Thanks, It would be great if we had a huge list of all the corollas and the pictures to match... :)
