  1. Awesome. Looks pretty straight, With a respray that'll come out sweet. Well done, keep it forever. don't know how many but there wouldnt be less than a handful of these in all of Australia. Scott.
  2. Cool! Keen on the old VW's looking forward to seeing what you can do to this one... Scott.
  3. Give it a crack Tommy! its a bit of a bastard cause you gotta remove the LCA's on at least 1 side. hmm. only one leaf on your henry? wonder what models get one and what get two?? Its possible that if you can source a single leaf from the 2 leaf pack it will still give the desired effect. might have a spare for you. ke30 shocks fit with a spacer. Worth looking into the rx7 option, probably be a shorter stroke.
  4. I've found my ke10's have had just one thick single leaf at the front and my ke11's have had 2 leafs in a pack. I seperated the 2 leaf pack and used the main leaf from that pack. when I compared this leaf with the single style from my ke10's it wasnt as thick so it allowed the front to sit lower. I just cut the one coil off the standard ke10 springs. The best way to do that is to wind the coil off the bottom spring perch and cut a little at a time. It'd be best to get a swaybar and do all these mods at once. Also remmeber to only tighten the swaybar bushes up once you've got the car at the right ride height. Make sense?? Scott.
  5. WOW! love it! well done making the fast decision and getting it. I check ebay everyday for this reason. Good to know it CAN happen. Scott.
  6. Graham, If you get absoluely desperate (I'm in SA) I have a drivers door on a 1968 model. PM me if you're interested. Scott.
  7. Henry, My ke11 had a double traverse leaf spring at the front. Check out if yours does because I found removing the second leaf and running it on just one, doing the ke20 strut to conversion and cutting 1 coil got my ride height sweet and still handelled quite well. I also had whiteline swaybar to compensate which is a MUST. That being said I think you should go the coilover sleaves... let us know how it goes. Scott.
  8. Looking Good Henry, real Good! I think thins car is done, just maintain it and love the attention you get. You had anyone try buy it yet?? they are Celica rims... Not sure what model either now. Scott.
  9. This is one of those dream finds! Do a full detail on it and leave it as it is!! can't wait to see pics of it cleaned up... Looks museum worthy. Scott.
  10. I paid 1500 for mine and its just a rust free straight shell with above average interior. Not running gear and badly needs paint. If its as good as you say. I recon its worth $3k absolute minimum probably more... Scott.
  11. Fark, thats so shiney I had a closer look to see if I could see you ellusive ke25 in the reflection! Nice! You better be putting up pics of the car from this show when it happens...
  12. I got a boot lid, straight and from memory rust free. Its not white but if you're repainting it'd be sweet. $15 in adelaide. Scott.
  13. Havent seen a 68 ke10-b before, does it have the early or late tail lights?? Looks like a bit of work but an awesome find, get into it and get another '10 back on the streets! Keen to see more pics too... Scott.
  14. YEAH! loving that look too, gotta love the Frank specials. I've also looked into the bullet look, I'm convinced it looks good now. good work
  15. So besides all the little issues, how does she go!!?? you been able to go for a decent run??
  16. Very nice Skillet, we're all keen to see the progress on this one. Where you from?? Scott.
  17. Tommy, Saw a bike of this style cruising down jetty road last night, I was VERY interested as they arent that common. it looked tough as and got a shitload of attention. The guy looked a little uncomforable on it but it gave that impression it could really pick up if he gave it a squirt. Id be keen for you to keep this thread going for sure...
  18. LOVE the wd40 look... tempted, but how would it go with our loving law enforcers??
  19. Tom, I've considered a flat green and still am considering it. Heres my inspiration I'm thinking a gun metal grey interior would look kool
  20. Ha! the riddler... shame I have my plates made already :D thanks for comments. Hopefully Ill get motivated enough to keep pics rolling
  21. Nice, looks pro/ Does that mean its permanent?? you should polish that bitch up  didnt realise you'd matt blacked the cars whole underside mate, you must be serious!! good luck with the tunnel cut, try not to cry when doing it.... Scott.
  22. All good scotty just messin with ya  you were right though. I don't want a ke10 that people think looks the same as another they've seen. Thats why I did my ke11 the way I did too. Toms right, that ke16 was long gone before I got it, its help build many others though. - for example: Toms manual conversion. You can rest assured knowing if it was even close to possible to be resurrected, it would have been. I tell you what, you gotta be careful whats in the background of your pics on here!! Cheers, Scott.
  23. you taking the piss?? haha. Yeah... if i thought about it, probably actually had it for 3 or even 4 years! Not going for a showroom ride, contemplating Matt blacking it. and going Green interior, I did a mock up, check it: Maybe a pale green though. Scott.
