  2. You gettin stuck into this now James??!! keep it crankin' sold the CA? Scott.
  3. You love to paint... don't you? might as well, seem to be good at it. is that engine bay gonna get the treatment now too?? Nice work!
  4. I think I was offered this a few weeks back but didnt have the coin, glad you ended up with it and not some loser. Keen for pics.
  5. Everyone loves a fast moving project thread. Keep at it. Just wanted to say I'm with Scotty on the Roof lining. I used a very good but 2nd hand roof lining in my ke11 and it was a bitch. didnt remove the windows and trying to tuck it in under the seals doesnt cut it. It looked good for a few months then the tighter section just pulled out again. By all means, if you're keen, give it a crack. chuck up the pics so we can see.
  6. haha! yeah its even moved onto the next state! sounds like its going to get a freshen up too. keep the pics rollin in.
  7. The truth is he's probably saving it. A matt black ke20 crusing the streets is better than half a car in someones shed that may never see the street again... I'm also doing a simular theme on my current mk1 escort project and my ke10 in the shed will also get the same treatment. Great way to make something decent from something with body work no 100%. Tom, I believe its the very same ke25 as it was Scotty's mate who built it (Bassy?) cheers Scott.
  8. Hell Yeah! thanks for sharing and feel free to update the thread daily.
  9. Looks very good. Whats with an old dude driving round with wheels and whitewalls like that! slam it and leave the rest how it is and cruise....
  10. Looks like your running lowrider hydros! To get that front down a little more you'll need ke20 top hats and srping seats. easy as to do, probably should ahve told you before you did the springs... email me for more info. Scott.
  11. I did this in a ke35 I had once. You can do it, as JIP mentioned, you have to take the whole metal framing out too. Only takes a few hours including a good clean. Worth doing if you prefer the later model dash as I do... Scott.
  12. Yeah looks good. be keen to see more of it, got any more pics??
  13. Damn, thats LOW! bringing the front down may even out the back a bit. keep the pics comin in... this cruiser has a bit of a rep round the coast. Scott.
  14. I've always thought that the ke3x were too new for the classic oldschool look but I'm starting to come round. I think if i was to own another one I would go the venetian and maybe some nice mags and red walls depending on what colour the car was. So you can sell me the crown hubbies :D Scott.
  15. I have a 1/4 panel that would be perfect for that. straight and rust free. PM for details. Cheap. got a 4k block to but i would go check out the lonsdale U-pull-it, had heaps of ke70's there last time I looked. Scott.
  16. Darryl is a champ, he did mine when I was living in the Hills and the only flat spot was under a balcony. It was raining flat out and it was all dripping through the cracks, he sat there the whole time and just got wet. I felt like I was robbing him when I handed so little cash his way... get pics up as soon as they're done tom :sob: Scott.
  17. Ben, if you get no love on here and really want to know I can get in touch with the owner who did the conversion and see what he knows. He didnt know shit about rollas though so might be tough. Scott.
  18. hey cam, I have some glovebox's with these and some without. I'm guessing it was supposed to be to hold maps... So yeah, they are there from new in some. Scott.
  19. I would prime the whole thing for sure. you've done the hard work already would only take a few more hours to prime the rest. I wouldnt risk it and you'll be happy for it in the end. looking good.
  20. YES! I love it when you get another car Gav! do a before and after for us when you've worked your magic. Scott.
  21. wow, this peter robinson guy must of had some decent cars in his time... Looks very tidy. I'm guessing its a 69? Id say you jusy upgraded from whatever company car you had :'( Scott.
  22. Id take at least one tshirt, been meaning to do this myself... good stuff!
  23. or you can get flappers and jam them in between the tyre and the rim. the guy who "paints" the whitewalls on first cuts into the sidewall so the white rubber paint sits in its own little groove.
  24. Id be happy to pay 500 even with a knacked diff. don't worry about it... my bro sold a 600cc bike to some tool who couldnt ride and wasnt used to the bike. wrote it off on the way home and tried to get his money back. haha. my bro told him to piss off. there were a few threats here and there but never heard from him again.
