Spotted this corolla in bayswater about 6 weeks ago, forgot to mention it. It has red 15"wheels, heap of stickers on the front fenders near drivers door. Sounded like a 4age. Has anyone else seen it? Sorry for the poor quality pic, I was driving and its a phone.

Having petrol in my mouth wasnt too bad, it pissed me off when it went in my eye. Espesialy when i was under the car and had to drag myself out from underneath the car blind. The carport cost me $230, if your going to store parts in there i would maybe put your parts on wooden palets unless you want them to get wet when it rains.

There is no condensation at all, the only thing on your car that will get ewt will be the tires, when it rains just remember to get all your tools off the ground. If there is any condensation, the pitch of the roof will let it roll off to the sides. If your looking for a portable carport, I recommend it just tie it down real well with Strong rope, the rope they give you is cheap and will snap in about 2 months. Any signs of damage, fix it immediately.

Nah, its a portable carport from super cheap Auto. I dinobolted it in the concrete. Its been there for about 5 months i think. Started to rip apart from the wind but I made some quick repairs with weatherboards on the bottom and its still standing.

Well i had an awful but productive afternoon :y: :S Siphoned out the fuel tank, mouthful of petrol. Undid the fuel lines, Petrol squirted in my eyes Unbolted the fuel tank, Dirt in my eyes and ears Pulled out the tank, skinned my knuckles. Undone the exhaust.. Nothing happened, lol. Notice the can of coke.. it didn't get rid of the taste of petrol :S

if it starts leaking just tighten up the nuts more. I removed the rubbers from my Ae82 and will have to get new rubbers. I am thinking of getting double sided high density stick on foam.

Yeah, just raise it up and weld up the cracks on the chassis once a week. No need for a jack, its just lucky he's got the hydraulics....

I agree, don't use silicon for anything on your car. Use sikaflex.

Hopefully I can have my name up on the 1/4 mile list mid this year. The 4age engine i bought has got a shaved, ported and polished head on it. It went good when i test drove it but i couldn't open it right up cos every time i did the back tires would scrap on the guards. :yes:

Thanks everyone for your comments. Next video will be heaps better. I'm hoping that once the rolla is back on the road i will get some fottage of the car in action. Might be a good 3-4 months away. Well i'm not drunk now but was this morning. Happy new year to all rollaclub members. Hope you all had a great time doing whatever you did to bring in the new year. As i said was drunk but now just riding the porcilen train. I had a SHIT night. Went into melbourne. I had plans to have a party at my house. I was going to supply piss, music and fire. Bring the genorator down the back yard (I live on 5 acres) Cut sick and run a muck. I had invites out to a fair few people including my GF and 3 of her freinds so there was a few chicks. But then my mates decide they want to go to the city and watch the fire works in person. Well darn me what a night. they didnt want me to bring my gf cos they said it will cramp their syle... what ever! my gf was pissed off when i said i'm going out with the boys for a night in the city. Anyway my mate drove in in his ss gen3 lowerd commo. We get a eski full of piss and hit the streets, WHat??? no drinking on the streets?? darn that!! we go back to the car and scull abotu 3 cans each then hit the street. Walk around and go to a pub. $30 bucks door entry?? stuff that! we walk to the next palce that had a crappy cover band playing, walk up to the sercurity.. Id he says.. get in then there is a girl at the door and she says $110 bucks entry fee each.. we say for what?? a crappy band and half hour wait to get drinks at the bar,, cya! Ok long story short cos i still feel like crap. 4 of us walk in to the city.. I get into a fight, mate gets his phone stolen, one cracks the shits and walks off with his phone flat, the other one has no phone cos it was stollen and the other mate i walk home with, miss the trian by 10 seconds. girlfrind crakcis it at me cos i didnt take her home, the taxi we rang got taken from someone else. we all get drunk and lost and get our own way home. The fire works were shit, the city was way too busy, anygirl i tryed to talk to has some jelose guy giving me evil looks so i chat to guys then they try go scam me with drinks.. darn it.. worst new years eve party ever! Next time i'm sticking to my guy feeling and going camping with people i know.. Ahh! i culd go on but i need sleep. Hey mark, just read your thread and i got to say this is one neat corolla. Good work on picking her up in such good condition. I got know idea about your dash, I'll try though.. How about pulling it out, getting a trusty angle grinder or belt sander and get the raised cracked sections down flat. Then go to Clark rubber, get some foam (4 or 5mm thick), Staple it down with a staple gun, Then get some black vinyl (mock up leather) and wrap it up and stable it down under where you wont see it. I don't know if that will work but just an idea.

The Ae92 suspention is the same as the ae82 twinky on the front. I want to get the 92 suspention in the rear so i can fit aftermarket shocks in like Koni yellow ajustable. Bowler has it on his car and it totaly transforms the ride feel and handling of the car. If i keep the sohc struts i wont be able to have that luxury. I am also getting the rear ae82 twinky disk brake setup, ae92 rear struts and ae82 strut top hats. I also want a ajustable rear swaybar and front roll bars and of corse the top strut bracing in the engine bay that connected with 4 bolt struts. The front hubs have to be changed because the sohc hubs have smaller bolts and the front strut's wont fit. Its all a bit hard to explain but when i'm done with it, it will have handing like a go cart. And stop with 4 wheel disk brakes.

Nice cars! :) I think those coupe's are horn!, I wanted to get one and do up as a project but the corolla was a lot cheaper to buy.. still very happy with my rolla. Keep the pics coming moe.

I have never driven a car with Fender mirrors but i can see Adams view on it. I personally think fender mirrors look good on Ke 10-25 but ke70 isn't old enough for that classic 70's styling. I think its more of a look thing rather than practicability.
