Bit of a close up of the repairs..

Bootlid fits like a charm, knocked back the surface rust and a bit of body filler here and there..

Today the bootlid and taillights were test fitted, the rear had to be knocked out a bit (old block of wood and sledge hammer trick).

The biggest problem I had with my clutch with the oil over it was when I was coming home one afternoon in a cracker storm. Water must have been flowing in through the clutch fork hole and oil/water = instant no clutch. (extremely fun on the highyway (110km/hr zone) in peak hour traffic, thunder and lightning, stuck on the inside of the highway for a few hours.. limped it across the other side of the road as soon as i got a good enough gap in the traffic and towed it home. 4th gear had screwed itself earlier in the week so I decided to replace the box and clutch at the same time.

We keep having a problem with the people in the call centre who take the orders and then dish them out to the local pizza shop, they always f@$k something up and the poor delivery guy never finds us, last time I ordered at work, I told them unit 3 number 18, what do the do, tell them we are on #318 then the other day they told the delivery boy, corner of main drive, when its corner of main drive and sportsmans parade, gah, they are useless i tell you..

Its Friday of course, care factor is low, all I can think about is grabbing a 6 pack of Jim Beam and colas on the way home and knocking them back and pretending this boring arsed week didn't happen. Saturday will probably be chasing up some in-tank fuel wiring for my lifter pump and then help matt out with his car the rest of the day.. why must the clock move so slow? :sad:

I know my rear main seal used to leak like a bitch, put a new one in and its not as bad as it used to be.. (did it when i had my engine pulled down to fix other oil leaks)..
