  1. One word - Datsun :P
  2. Not likely. Isaac's has mad flutterz. I'll drag you along to the next Chaser meet. You'll see what I mean.
  3. Why pull the line? Mines electronically controlled, I just unplug it. :) Already tried that tonight, need to fit a pod filter to get the full does effect habibi!
  4. Found the instructions upon commencing the install tonight! Chopped a very minor amount out of the end of the rails down the bottom, trimmed the support that bolts to the radiator support, and modded the brackets a little to lay it back. Didnt have to chop the reo bar, didnt have to chop the front bar as its a fibreglass copy either! All in all, VERY happy. Pulls like a school boy! Can hear the turbo spooling now and the factory BOV is more noticeable as well.
  5. I still reckon heavy duty uni's are the way to go. Listen to Stu, he builds pistons for performance applications ;)
  6. Some dude from the UK brought one of these over on his holiday and I had to find a radiator hose that was similar as it was busted. Wouldnt be fun to get parts for, thats for sure.
  7. With the reo, I'm going to lay it back so I don't need to chop it. Front bar is fibreglass, so shouldnt need to trim much away, if at all. I should check the box for these instructions you speak of though haha.
  8. I know Brenton from Fours 'N' More Cam. If you can email me some decent pictures, I can drop in and see him and see what I can dig up about it for you :)
  9. Haha, I'm looking forward to going for a ride in the 911 when its ready, if its ever ready :P
  10. Haha, its being fitted after 5pm, so should be a stack cooler to install the cooler then. I have a bolt in kit that Trust do for the JZX100, so minimal cutting required just on the ends of the chassis rails. With my mate on hand who has installed quite a few intercoolers into Chasers in the past, it shouldnt take much longer than an hour or two to knock over. I'm looking forward to the fun tonight! Haha! I don't have a boost controller, but with just the stock cooler on, I was pushing 0.9bar with a free flowing exhaust.
  11. Haha, come on, don't be like that Ryan! You supply me a free turbo and I'll do it :P At the moment, I've just removed the stock intercooler and associated piping as my Trust/Greddy Spec LS Front Mount Intercooler is being fitted later today when it cools down (I don't like swimming in my own sweat). After that, diff bushes need doing, then sway bars, chassis rail bars to stop torsional twist and then lucky last is a 1 or 1.5 way LSD. Stereo still has to go in too, just awaiting a factory amp integration harness from the US and I ordered the wrong one. Once all thats done, just a few niggly bits, front bar repair and repaint, same with the side-skirts and I'll be happy.
  12. Looks like there are two of us :P
  13. That would be me. ;) Its just a mstter of swapping over the rear extension housings. Saves elongating the hole to move the shifter position back further.
  14. All in all, it was a good trip, short, but good! Though the extra two days in Melbourne turned it into a nice little holiday. Next year will be a 3 day camping weekend by the looks of things, but am also planning to go into Melbourne for a week afterwards as well. :)
  15. Heavy Duty ones from CBC dude. Get on it!
  16. There is just way more to do over there than here, but in saying that, I've lived here all my life, so a sea change can't be all that bad :)
  17. Haha, good one Poz! Was Alan and I that pushed you out dude :)
  18. I still say that you should go get some heavy duty universal joints or at least get the tailshaft rebalanced as that may be causing the issue.
  19. Not too shabby for a turbo manual either. If the intercooler can lean the fuel out a little bit more, it effectively should be even better on the open road. Total fuel cost to travel 1830km's was around $280 as well.
  20. 70 litres. :)
  21. Has some piece of crap Addzest with no wiring loom at all for it. Was slapped in for looks prior to leaving Japan. I know what harness I need, I'm just VERY strapped for cash atm. Regarding fuel consumption, I thought 650km to the tank on the open road was more than reasonable, if I can squeeze 700km out of it, sweet!
  22. Haha, all good, I wish I had of stayed longer. I didnt hear from anyone so Kangaroosa came and picked Ali and I up and we met Ryan at the Drums Hotel for dinner. I'm also considering a move over once the Chaser is paid off and if I can find a job doing what I do now. Thats how much I enjoyed it.
  23. So the head unit has rocked up, but I ordered the wrong wiring harness for the factory plug, so now I have to wait for more funds before I order the correct one. This rocked up today too: Getting fitted tomorrow night and so should be a stack better to drive in the heat and even better on a cold winters day!
