  1. Ram tubes are directly bolted to the inlet of a weber carb. This will purely be for looks only doing it the way you're doing it as it can't ram air directly into the carburettor. You'd be better off machining up one big ram tube to cover the inlet of the stock carb and running a divider down between the primary and secondary throats, so they get their own shot of air each. :)
  2. No, not entering. All my spare cash is going towards my trip to Fiji in August so I can do lots of cool shit there. :) Someone is welcome to come and collect the banner, but I suggest it needs a bit of an update as it looks pretty average.
  3. Gonna be interesting when he comes out to his car on fire due to a dodgy wiring setup ;)
  4. Neither would be legal, neither would be able to get engineered, so if you're wanting something for the track, choose one, if you're wanting something for the street, choose none.
  5. Last person that boxed me in after work when I was 17 ended up having their car written off because they didnt move it and I drove straight into the side of their Mazda 929 shitbox........with my XD Falcon at the time. Play games like that with me and you'll end up with a written off vehicle. ;)
  6. Clark Rubber have it in stock. :)
  7. I'd keep it the way your old man intended it to be kept and only bring it out on special occasions. Its good to see that you have the memories there and even more of a point to keep it in top notch condition, the way he intended.
  8. I can get the same effect by unplugging my factory BOV. The pigeon noise is just the air slowing down through the turbine blades. "Apparently" it doesn't cause damaged and is much more noticeable with a POD filter. Personally I think its huge wank factor and have done it once for shits and giggles but didnt have the same effect as hektik VL's. If you want flutter, block your BOV. Simple.
  9. ....what? Its illegal to have extractors? I think you mean its illegal to drive a V8 or a turbo vehicle. Sure, extractors might net you an extra 10nm of torque on a K motor, but if you paint them with some black flameproof paint and stick with the stock carburettor setup and a quiet sports system, I don't think the cops will care if you have extractors or not, nor do I think its an issue anyway.
  10. Fix that front left guard dude!
  11. The new stupid f&*king manager I have to work under who thinks its his job to serve f**k all people and answer f**k all phone calls and yet its apparently MY job to do phone sales, counter sales, stock control, deposit returns, customer credits AND driving! Who is he f**king kidding! *wants to smash something!* :abuse:

I'll still take you out on run, don't worry. I will be driving the Chaser as a daily for the next two weeks, but fuel is frickin' expensive at the moment so wont be hitting any hills anytime soon as I can't afford it.
  15. Evan, no idea on size, and if I knew, I wouldnt be posting here :P
  16. Do what I did, which is pretty dodgy and you're gonna want to make sure the trailer is in good operable condition with good tyres if you're even considering doing this. Hire a trailer, tell them you're not taking it out of the Metro area so its cheaper, take it interstate to get car, bring it back within said time frame, done. Risky, very risky, and I wouldnt do it again, but its a dodgy option and if you're tight on cash....?
  17. That would be correct. Tis I!
  18. can't get my wheels off. Need the right size socket for it!
  19. No, Dale bought the car with the plates on it I think, or he got the plates as they were available, can't remember now. Said plates have now been removed for quite some time and Dale has no more issues with mr poreece occifer. Dale does own a white Chaser though. Maybe they were put on another white Chaser. :)
  20. Sweet. Zach, be sure to post them in the thread which has now been moved to The Event Archive section. Trying to keep photos/events in the same thread together to keep this place a little more organised :) Cheers Mick
  21. There was the other bunch on the other side of the 4WD too from VIC, WA and NSW that had their Chasers entered as well.
  22. I was there, but hardly any of you know what my Chaser looks like, I was hardly near it all day as the shade was more appealing than getting fried by the sun and keeping the interstate vistors entertained was higher on the list. :)
