Well...the first intended mission to land on the moon was successful. Before that there were three manned missions to the moon which had no intentions of landing. One of them didn't even carry a Lunar Module!

Also because the vaporisation of the nitromethane (methanol too) is a very endothermic process they're able to run the superchargers past their normal efficiency range. Try and run one of those superchargers at 50+psi on a petrol engine....good luck! There seems to be this misconception that turbos make power completely unpredictably. The thing people forget is that they're not a switch. Its not 0-12psi in zero seconds. Its a progressive buildup tending towards exponential as the boost pressure increases (to a point). Its quite possible to drive a turbo around on partial throttle and only a few PSI boost. Even sinking the boot in from low RPM doesn't result in a massive unexpected spike in power (and my dyno graph goes very close to vertical). If you've driven the car for more than a few minutes you'll know exactly what the turbos going to do and when (conditions apply!).

RE55S are a proper semi slick and are NOISY AS FK! Sound like tractor tyres due to the massive tread blocks. They're also direction and left/right so you can only rotate them front to back not side to side which makes managing tyre wear difficult. I decided against using them for that reason alone.

Just to clarify a turbo doesn't actually recirculate exhaust gases back into the cylinders. Perhaps a better wording is that it extracts the waste energy from the exhaust gases and recirculates that energy.

MMkay I'll just sit back and laugh then. I think most mature K motor owners are ready to admit that they aren't exactly an engineering masterpiece.

You realise with the amount of dicking around you're doing for something "custom" (read: copy what everyone else has done) you could quite easily put a 4A-GE in....or even an SR20DET and have far more than double the power output of the pathetic K motor. The only reason you'd do so much work to upright them and make that little bit more power is if you had no other option due to class rules. Save yourself the headache and just do an engine conversion. I'm not even going to start picking holes in your plans....just too many.

Stretching tyres is the stupidest thing ever. They design tyres for specific rim sizes (maximums and minimums) and putting them on anything outside the manufacturers recommendations is downright dangerous. On a 9 inch rim you should be running 235s minimum.

Sounds like you've clicked a google link to rollaclub which has changed your default view from Standard to probably Outline. The layout of the topics hasn't been changed by the skin at all... just jazzed up. All you have to do to change it back is, in the top bar of a topic theres a box called "Options". If you click on that and then click "Standard" it will go back the way it was.

Each to their own. Those are pretty typical silvia offsets. Should sit alright on the rear but you might need spacers on the front. Dodgy toyota strut setup!

No, you cannot interchange parts between Borg Warner and Jap (banjo) diffs. You can however put a KP starlet center in a Jap corolla diff.
