  1. lol ghetto fuel setup! Congrats.
  2. Thread cleaned. Grow up. Sbox stop letting people bait you. The suspension warning was a GENERAL warning and applied to ALL INVOLVED.
  3. I'd change the CSS so that rollaclub was maroon but that takes effort. Oh well maybe for the second match.
  4. Well actually 99.9999% of car "intercoolers" are actually aftercoolers. The term intercooler comes from WWII aircraft which had multiple stages of supercharging with intercoolers between (inter - latin for between...get it?) the supercharging stages and sometimes an aftercooler as well.
  5. Basically just trying to develop an ongoing interest from local members. Organising cruises and events etc. Assist the global mods in keeping the local forum clean.
  6. Personally I think its got more to do with the metallurgy of the material used as opposed to heat dissipation. For example F1 cars use Inconel for their exhausts. Its smooth and shiney like stainless yet is more than happy to take a white hot glow for a few hours. Also has a lot to do with where the material is made and welded. Is the alloy free of impurities with quality welding tools and techniques? Coming out of china I doubt it...
  7. They tried cycling up it last year I think when one side was closed for bridge to brisbane and apparently its a pretty easy ride!
  8. Sure can, however its difficult to strike and maintain an arc on even the cleanest alum. Makes a really cool green arc and some really nasty fumes too!
  9. If you'd like to be the one, make yourself known.
  10. Spitto that is UTTER BULLSHIT. If you're correct then an Aero engine such as a Lycoming O-360 running 130/100 (130 octane rich burn, 100 lean burn) should do nothing but ping because it only runs 8.5:1 compression. I ask you to please refrain from posting any more bullshit. There are numerous posts made by you in the trashcan because of the poor quality of information. We strive for a high quality of information on rollaclub unlike some other forums.
  11. If its not your work, credit it so that its not just outright plagiarism. Some of it is a fair bit of bullshit with lots of padding IMO.
  12. Tridon sell aftermarket thermo switches that you can just hook up to a relay. I do have thermo fan function on my Haltech but I'm using a thermo switch. Simple is best (in something as critical as this anyway).
  13. Yea for sure if you've got a lathe go for it! If they come out well I might be interested in some too :S
  14. Well the new ones going to have a bike lane so that should be enough for them... I thought there were already 6ft high steel barriers all the way along the bridge? It's been a while since I've been over it....for good reason.
  15. Usually portings done on the PORTS. Personally I think the only way you're going to be able to see is to cut up another head. Going by what the PR guys are doing you can port them out a hell of a long way. Injector mounts: http://www.vpw.com.au/productgroup.asp?Cat...p;PrdGrpID=2491 You're going to need to sort out a fuel rail and a way to attach it. You'll also need to decide on what style of injectors you're going to use because that will affect the fuel rail setup. For the brake booster you can use a weld on AN fitting and use a AN->barb fitting. VPW sells them too.
  16. I run Hoosier A3S05s but they're not particularly street legal (despite being DOT approved). I haven't got any good laps out of these yet because theres always been some other issue with the car. Hopefully in the next few months. On the street (and the track for the best part of a year) I run Bridgestone RE070s on the front but they only come in two sizes one being 225/45R17 and the others a 20 inch tyre for the new R35. The rears are continentals that I'm not particularly fond of. If you want good semis have a look at Dunlop DZ03G. That's most likely where I'll go for my next set of semi slicks. If you're just looking for top quality street tyres look at some RExxx bridgestones. My 070s are stunning. The wear rates very low despite the fact I've given them a hiding and my only gripe with them is they go a little greasy after a few laps pushing hard but so does every other street tyre.
  17. This the thread? http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=13186
  18. I imagine you'd also prefer your supercharger to be connected to something too? Just a guess? lol
  19. Bilstein don't make shocks specifically for cars (not the high end monotubes anyway). They make shocks of various shapes and sizes and then you select the one that suits your application best and have it valved to suit that application. Bilstein are miles better than KYB.
  20. Nah you can go sit out in the cold for now. I haven't spent thousands of hours working on this site (not to mention hundreds of dollars) to have some f@$kwit ignore a simple request.
  21. The RB30 has a higher deck height but yea length wise they're the same (which is the important bit anyway). That cars freaking spastic. I assume its just going to be a drag car?
  22. I'm not sure how question marks can offend me but whatever... Just makes you look like a 15yo OMGWTFFBEBEWQQQ!!!ULEH??!?!!?????? You'll get better answers if you don't look quite so immature. How hots your oil getting? The incoming water being hot wont cause direct issues (many a turbo were soley oil cooled in days gone by....and still today) however it will mean your oil is now carrying the burden of heat and chances are it's been coking which will destroy your oil seals pretty quickly. It could just be that it was an old turbo and almost had it anyway.
  23. Why so many question marks??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? one is plenty!
  24. Theres a bypass valve on factory setups.
  25. Hey Sbox can you please remember to not delete the open and end tags. Thats why all your posts have broken quotes.
