  1. ....good point I spose. There may be something in the works for the rolls. She needs a bit of a major overhaul and a new motor but I still don't feel the need to go through the rigmarole of signing up to toymods. Why bother when I can get all the info I need right here?
  2. Hey hey, I drive a Toyota more than I drive my Nissan... It just happens to be that a car on track suspension with tyres worth $400ea and last all of 2000km as well as a seat worth $1300 and sucking premium at a rate of 23L/100km isn't a very practical car to drive to work every day. Not to say I don't like driving it.....god I love that car! In other news my Bilstein setup should show up soon :D:D But theres always a negative... apparently they (wolf) couldn't find anything wrong with my Wolf 3D so its about as useful to me as a $2000 brick (grr f@$ken!!!). Anyone wanna buy it?
  3. Oh christ please not again..... :D
  4. Flux capacitor??
  5. Any piston with a 75mm bore. The trick is trying to find a pin height to suit. If you're not prepared to do the research yourself, just use standard pistons.
  6. Anyone else want Jips credit card number??
  7. Electrical. Mechanical is cheap and nasty (and potentially dangerous)
  8. I thought it was vitamin D? Anyway, the few QLDers who want this BS daylight savings can just find a flexible job and go to work an hour earlier. I know I could do that if I wanted to. I can't understand why Perth decided they need it. I was over there last year and the suns up till like 8pm anyway! As if you need any more sunlight than that...
  9. Well done!
  10. If/when I change it back its very simple for the southerners to turn daylight savings on. Theres an option in your control panel :D http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?a...rCP&CODE=04
  11. Last year the server was in Brisbane. This year the servers in Sydney so it appears we've adopted daylight savings. I might look at reversing it if I can.
  12. Don't skimp on the brake pads either. Calipers are gonna be useless if you fill them with crap pads. (And no, bendix is not a good quality brand of brake pad)
  13. Thats pretty much what you have to do. I might have dropped the cross member as well, can't remember. Seriously, just take the engine out, you will regret trying to do it with the engine in.
  14. It is possible to remove the sump without removing the engine (Ive done it) but its a lot of stuffing around. Far far easier to remove the engine.
  15. Who needs toymods....
  16. Whatever floats your boat I guess.... :)
  17. Constructive criticism always welcome. Often the first time user is forgotten when designing pages so your input helps immensely!
  18. We're not actually a club per se and will never be one so its unlikely to ever happen. In fact its more likely it will be registered as a business in the next few months to make my/our legal position more clear.
  19. Is it possible for you to take the effort to put an A and an E around your Rs? Thanks...
  20. The FAQs search coding is far superior to the forums. If the forums search isn't netting anything you can always do a google site search. http://www.google.com.au/search?q=site%3Arollaclub.com Heck I'm so nice I made myself late for work doing this for everyone: http://www.rollaclub.com/google.php That should net all but the most recent posts, but google seems to be crawling us with heaps lately so there'll be very little missed. Keep the writeups to the FAQ, the forum isn't designed for them. I am keen however to reorganise the index to make it easier to find what you're looking for.
  21. Perhaps I should make the FAQ link a bit bigger or something... Yes we did have a tech write up section at one point in the past but all that stuff should be in the FAQ/wiki now. If you're not sure how to use it just post the info up and someone should be able to format it for you. You will need to signup to the FAQ separately and validate your email to be able to post or edit articles. Don't worry if you bugger something up, the pages can be easily reverted. Spammers used to overwrite entire pages so I don't think anyone here could do any worse.....I hope... While we're on the topic is there anyone keen to do write ups or help format write ups??
  22. Yea should be able to. You will know if its a KE20 strut because the KE70 rotors wont fit inside the splash plate properly. If its 4x114.3 the hubs must have been changed.
  23. How many inches is the ring gear?
  24. OK heres some REALLY rough maths (its friday and I can't be f@$ked doing it properly). If anyone has better data please let me know, these are just for example. Yes I know theres glycol in some coolants but for simplictys sake I'm just using water density. Say the water entering the radiator is 85 degrees C. Water exiting the radiator is 70 degrees. Water displaced by the water pump is 1ltr every 5 seconds. The density of water at 85 degrees is 0.96839 g/cc and 0.97763 at 70. Density change from top of radiator to bottom of radiator is 0.00924 g/cc. So in 5 seconds the water pump displaces 977.63cc of water and the thermosyphon effect displaces 9.45cc (0.9666%). So in one minute the water pump moves 11731.56cc and the thermosyphon moves 113.4cc. Ive probably f@$ked up something in there. Feel free to pick apart (...correct) my maths. I suspect the water pump moves alot more than 1 litre every 5 seconds.
