If I recall they come on at 107 km/h, at least it did in a mates Supra. You shouldn't be going over 100 km/h in Vic anyway unless you want a ticket. So you will only hear it in SA up to Bordertown which takes 2.5 hours, so 5 hours in total for return. /end useless facts

That power level is a bit low for the 20v... Should be making more like 85 - 90kw with that motor. Does the dyno generally read lower figures for all cars or is something not right? What ECU are you using? Mine made 93 rwkw standard so that's why I'm asking :thumbsup:

Cars that need fixing are hard to sell, fix it and enjoy it and if you don't enjoy it after you have fixed it then just sell it. People are crazy to think that Corollas are going to appreciate in value over the years. Unless of course you have a truly overrated one owner KE10 or KE20.

I tried those Hayashis on a KE20 with 175/70 on them They fit perfect on the rear with a small slip on spacer (8mm) On the front they were flush with no spacer. So really you could go to a 6 inch with o offset on the rear and a +8 at the front, or just use slip on spacer like I did. I'm going to run a 7 -1 offset, which by my calculations will fit well with a bit of a roll and pull of guards. KE20's have that natural lip on the guards all round which could be rolled nicely and still look kind of factory

I have bought my KE20 down to my in-laws tonight so should be more opportunities to work on it now since it is closer to where I live :P I enjoyed driving it again tonight, gave me some much needed motivation for the car again.

k motors weigh sweet f all with no box attached. I lifted one out of the boot of my laser the other day with the help of a mate. There is no reason why you couldnt remove the box and lift it out the bay with some help. Remove the radiator so you don't screw it and it gives you more room. Be careful of your backs though, for the cost of hiring an engine crane $55.00 for a day it is probably worth it to save your back :D

There is an army green colour the VE Commodores are coming out in now try finding it on net It is not metallic therefore it would suit the old school and it is a great colour. Its what I would paint my 20 :D
