Ok, Quick Update. Purposely, i left the post date lapse a day to try and get as many people in at once for the postal day. See list below / next post for current status as of 10:30 Brisbane Time, Monday 11 Aug as to who i have received payment from & who i am still waiting on. Due to a few behind the scenes family circumstances with rear-end deposits hitting the fan, i was unable to get to the post office last Friday. This week, i have to work past the time of which the post box is open to. Wednesday is a public holiday for us Queenslanders (due to the "ekka"). Wednesday night until Sunday, i will be in Cairns. So, here is what i will be trying desperately to do. Either get a parental or sibling to make the post run for me Or, on the occasion that the post office is open on the public holiday, i will post all on Wednesday morning. Stay watching for details. Sorry for any inconveniences, you will all get the stickers shortly :dance:

^ excellent advise Short of this not working, the CD players in the Toyota Australian range from i think.. 02 ? (possibly earlier?) onwards really are nothing too crash hot. To be completely honest, they are unreliable pieces of crap. Regularly units are getting replaced in cars with as low as 2000 kms on them because the CD player just wont accept a CD, or wont play it, or wont spit it back out, or simply just wont turn on. Not to mention the other issues you stumble across.. When they work, they are a nice simple unit to use with a few basic adjustable setting that even granny could work out. If you cannot get yours to work by a few.. home methods, either justify having to spend $300 on the steaming pile of dog poo, and get some form of warranty with that; or get a non-gen unit.

G'day. Depends where exactly the head gasket has blown. If its between an oil gallery & a cylinder, its going to burn oil like crazy & possible glaze up one of the bores. It will get worse. Should you drive on a blown head gasket? not really. What diagnostic points have led you to believe that its the head gasket at fault ?

I demand a photo shoot with this early next year :) hahahaha

After this, exhaust will proceed, along with tint, Door trims & other edges. ! I should get the wheels sorted as well. mm. Car motivation has been low lately. They fit perfectly well if you have the correct front beaver panel. No need for ANY cutting. Provided you have an early ADM front end on your ke70. Lights are nice, hey ? :S

Not to say that anyone here is correct or incorect, But you must remember at the end of the day, everyone has different experiences & ideas on what a motor should run oil wise. No one here is an oil lab-analyst either, lol. Every oil product will tell you that there product is better, obviously. As for the grade of oil.. 20W50 is what Toyota genuine is for that motor; If the motor had excessive kms on it, i would make the decision to change to a slightly thicker grade oil to compensate; but if its getting that bad; you should probably look into fixing the motor :bash: Realistically, if you want to look after your motor with piece of mind that what you have in there is ok, just chuck genuine stuff in there, but do an oil and filter change every 5,000. It always keeps the oil looking overrated !

Oh yes, these long weekends are like no other. So many good memories :yes:
