^^ i arrived 10 minutes after that post (Sleep on the weekends FTW) Complments of the rain, and general crap weather, progress was slowish today. Got the other headlight surround painted, along with the console n lid , bottom steering surround and lower horozontal steering colum plastics & Right hand air vent. Also re-velour striped the air vent, as that gives it that "new firm" feeling hehe. (It had a ting of brown on the upper lip of the plastic; which was enogh for me to pull it out again and redo it) Justin has painted the manifold, TB, TVIS plate, fuel rail and some other bits n pieces on the motor. Its looking really nice. Worked out the new location and started positoning the electric mirror switch. Tested new injector plugs, ordering a set this week (quick-Clip) ~ they fit very smug Found the TVIS wiring that id accdently taped over when i did the loom. Hahah. mnmmmmm i think thats it for today. can't wait for the motor to go in next week

Lesley, I know the pain you are feeling, but i think you have done well to get this much so far haha. It sounds like your dealership has looked after you pretty well, from what ive seen. All new parts come with some form of warrenty, to an extent. Like all new things. Reaistically, if you got a new turbo NOW, in warrenty, and 2 weeks later it blew up (outside of "vehicle warrenty"); provided your servious history is good for the vehicle, it looks like its all legit and you HAVE NOT touched anything, to warrent its failure; it would fall into 2 cadigitorys; 1) Parts warrenty - you get warrenty on the part (its different for everything, so keep this in mind) and its replaced at there cost, as its a faulty 'part' 2) out of warrenty consideration form - that your dealer fills in. Chances are, if everythings going ok and you have done nothing wrong, then they may get it. How much turbo work has your car had? Jeezzz.. ! We never get any 112's in @ work with big problems. Un looked after, they are good for about 150 / 200 (thousand) kms, before they really need to be binned - the motor that is haha. Ahh...
