haha you tell me evan, my old man on his patrol cut all the blanks out and retrofitted bulbs into all the "for show" tailights. pretty sure theyre used in europe etc, but not required over here so don't get used, its the most stupid thing imo

but thats a good vehicle review, a genuine compare and contrast. which as i understand is how top gear started. but theyve now moved onto the new format of entertainment, which is what top gear australia is aiming to copy. they are neither informative or highly entertaining, which is the problem... they have the format to work with, but not the personalities to make it work.

as my profile says, yatala, halfway between brisbane and gold coast, where are you? you will have to act fast, hoping the car will be leaving in 2 to 3 weeks. call it maybe a couple of hundred by the time i organise it with my mate in the states, get them to him, get him to put the car etc etc then duty might be up to 15% I'm not sure, the tools I'm bringing in are only 5%, and of course, GST.

if you pay me, i can put them in the car I'm importing and you just have to pay the duty and a little bit of pocket money to me for organising it... if they do free shipping within the states i have an address to send them to to get them put in the car... I'm gonna look now, might get myself a set if they do what i want ;)

as has been said, easiest option is to just get a new block and build it. if you were to get it welded, the motor would ahve to be put in an oven, so some amount of stripping would probably have to be done, mainly anything that might melt...
