Our Story. A couple of week back I purchased this T18 for a few hundred dollars. Pulled her from a shed where she has been hibernating for the past 2-3 years. Gave her some fuel, fitted a battery and away she went first crank(electric fuel pumps are handy) into gear and off she went with no hassles. As the photo atest she is no "Belle of the Ball". I am hoping to pull off a "Cinderella" type deal. As you can see she is a granny spec T18, L3TC/T50. On completion it will esentially still be granny spec as this car is for my kids not me. Hey all , I volounteer at a youth organization called Car 26, project aimed to get kids of the streets and teach them about cars and how to work on them. anyhoo we got donated a ke30 from a lady whos mother passed away, i bought it of the group and now it my project car. Its a 1977 ke30 , done 96,00 genuine ks , i have the original reciepts , log books and warranty cards for the car along with a comprehensive service record. it has a few dings here and there but not for long. It was a 3k auto but i have recently converted it to a 2t engine with a 5 speed box that i got of a mate with a few celicas. runs good as , still got abit to go though.

This is my project throughout time and eternity itself. focus is boring, so i gotta have something to keep me occupied. Bought the car in 2005 as an auto from my grandfathers estate, and it was one of my first cars. Auto + 4k makes for a very dull car so with the help of a few mates from pulse motorsports car club, we converted it to manual and it was a good learning experience. A couple of the bits i bought didnt match up as they were from a ke55, so another ke70 shitta was bought for 100 bucks. still didnt have the clutch spacer for the firewall though..so the solution was to weld a 22mm socket to the firewall..dodgy..but does the job just the same. Picked her up last monday, I'm quite happy with her, its a massive upgrade from the EA and she is clean as... picked her up for a score too! When I got her; Had to get rid of those 'poofter stripes' down the rear quarters; It looks a bit more tough now... But the stock stereo was absolute shit... so I decided to whack in some of the components I had lying around into the subi. Just arived and hour ago, this was the one on Ebay. Its pretty original and rust free.I just put in a battery and of she went. Needs accelerator cable, so if you've got one i need it! Hey guys, Just thought i'd start a thread of my recently purchased $500 ke70 that i'm planning to work on over time. Specs are- 1983 Flat Front Ke70 Standard 4k motor 4spd Golf Ball JDM gear knob :P Fairly straight body with a fair bit of rust. Its pretty stock standard but didnt expect much for 500 bucks. My intentions are to make it look a little more JDM and turn it into a street/track car. I will post more photo's and such when i finish gettin rid of rust and add more mods but let me kno what you guys think along the way :)

hey guys, really bored so I'm jsut chucking up new new ke, i got it for 600 bucks with 6 months rego, its manual, and has only the tiniest bit of rust in the rear wheel arches. so far all the only parts ive chucked in due to lack of effort, are excel g shocks and falcon springs in the rear. oh and a pair of what i think are ssr superfins, not too sure maybe someone can confirm? all i no is theyre sum random ghey offset. ive got big plans to turn it into a te71, jdm ftw lol.. so I'm after, chrome bumpers, quad headlights, and fender mirrors, if uve got any or all of these please pm me or jsut post in here ! thanks. piks..

Originally I was buying it for parts for my brother in laws 20 but after looking at it tonight I might have fallen for it. A few ideas I had for it: 1. SO here it is. 1982 KE70 4k with a 4ke EFI setup, SC12 supercharger running at 8-10 PSI. Electronic ignition, Microtech D5 ECU. custom piping belts, pullys whatever.. not sure. 5 speed. fully sick pod filter. Fuel setup is standard tank, lift pump into swirl pot, into a a bigger pumper then to motor lol. Car has 2 x jellybean mags, 2x hotwires. all new tyres, lowered on cutties lol. Hi all, I've been trolling around on here for a while now and rarely posted. I thought I'd take the opportunity to throw my hat in the ring and say G'day. I've been the owner of this 1986 CSX Seca for over 7 years now and it's seen a lot of great days and some pretty ordinary days. Bought it for $1800 and have been tinkering with it ever since. It's had a replacement motor put in it after a month of eating 20W/50 and then 3 years later a head rebuild with all new gaskets and belts. Most of the work that gets done to it is by me. My wife's 4AGE powered AE86, sold about 8 years ago to a guy in Melbourne, never seen again!. Just couldn,t resist, genuine log 65000ks 4 matching tyres with 70% tread dated 4/89 33 years old and never had a radio, still some plastic on the door trims, 100% rust free all priginal paint just needs a polish immac inside except pull handles are broken, may consider selling if anyone is serious

Bought this one on Ebay last week. Was sold new at Canberra Toyota back in 1977 and traded last month on a new 2007 Corolla. Its a one owner 5 speed with air con that works great and its only done 110,000kms. The bonus was when the car turned up last night i checked the engine to see if it was the original 3K and discovered it was a 5K. I'll post more pics after it get the new wheels and suspension job. Have a set of 14x7 Rebel Wheels, lowered King front springs and new struts as well as re set rear leaf springs, a down draft webber, extractors and sports exhaust all waiting to go on.

Hello Peeps, I have recently bought a ke30 stock as a rock and already have a million ideas running through my head. i have tried to utilize the search function but keep having to wait 20 seconds and its getting to me :S if someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Atm engine is my last worry as i want the car to brake and handle, so am i able to put in coilovers ? Picked up a neat 1990 AE92 5 speed Seca CS Spirit for the missus this evening. It is red, stock as with a 4AFC with 230,000 kays on it. It is very nice to drive. She's stoked and already has fallen in love with it. Needs a little few minor touch ups and a good detail. Will get some pics up soon.

Because Teddy is too slack thought I would post up some pictures of his white KE70.. Before he got his licence it had a stock 4K in it and he had a very quick and dodgy respray done on it. He later on got some nice mag wheels for it and fitted a slightly worked 4K with 3K largeport head / cam / downdraft weber etc. Also fitted extractors and exhaust.. Then later on he picked up twin carbs for it and they went on. Over the years though the rust has begun to break though the paint so I have started patching bits here and there when he comes up to work on the blue car.. Some pictures of it in its former glory..
