ok i thought i better introduce my self and post up what i have dun 2 my car so far i first found the ke30 in the trading post for $600 we went and checked it out and it looked good bar the most corolla rust spots. we took it hoom and the next day went straight 2 work on it satrted with the diff buying a new 1 cos the old 1 was stufed and was making sum funky noises and then brake pads and a full service and then went on 2 the interiour were the carpet was riped and batterd and the seats were torn so we went out and got new carpet and new seats and sum vinal so we could also do the door trims and then went on 2 the exteriou we sanded it back kut and replaced the rust…

Hi people, i am new to this forum, and would like some help with my car. I am a maltese national living in england and would like to bring over my car from malta. The car is a 1971 corolla sl, ke25 model. I satrted drag racing when 1 was 17yrs old, and after nearly 7 years, i want to build my own car. The sl is quite a good car, being light and rwd. The questions are, what is the best engine/transmission to use without too much hassle, preferably turbo. And secondly waht rear axle should i use, cos I'm already on my second diff, with a 5k engine in it!! Cheers for yr help, Vince

Hello, first let me introduce myself. I'm Peter and I live in the Netherlands. I own 2 EA92's and have owned a TE71 during my traineeship in South Africa. I'm a member of the dutch corolla club (They also have a forum for you who can read dutch: www.corollaforum.nl) I have attached some pics of my (ex-)rides. Unfortunally, the 4a-ge engine is not that common in the corolla's over here. we basicly stick with the 4a-fe. Although I have some early plans for a swap with a gze or a silvertop. Hey guys New to the site thought id post up my corolla its pretty bland Go it for free off my grandma ;) , the engine is pretty much stock 1300cc i think its a 3K not much up on that ill have to read through the wiki faq, runs well though. hey just wondering what i can do to get my ke55 to be a lil more fun when driving??? i was thiking about 2inch exhaust and extractors jst gotta check round for prices. i have a 2ltr cortina carby but no manifold and not quite sure on how to install it all any help will be a big help. thanks Josh

yeap......4k is running on like 3 cylinders but running nonetheless haha, has a locked diff which is missing one of the shims and has no diff oil in it haha (will get round to it ;) ). no interior cept for a guage pod zippy tied to the steering column and 2 chairs, custom ignition lol (i pulled the switch out and superglued a knob to it so u don't need a key...ignition was rooted) and yeah thats about it. still deciding whether to use this one as my drift project or another cleaner one. its a beast!!!!! ;) :) (crap phone camera images) (crap phone camera video haha) (p.s. don't mind the fusion doll....he wanted a ride :kiwi: )

hey guys been looking through the site for a while now though i would post some pics of my car its a ke70 meant to be a daily but its to much of a shit box to keep running haha its got a ca18det conversion in it with full forged and a top mount t3 t4 snail hanging of it a and just all the other little shit done to it heavy duty clutch just trying to figure out suspension set up for it now for drifiting leave some coments on it if u plz will get more fotos of new turbo set up soon

okay people, i finally got time to post my rolla. i was looking for a rwd corolla before buying this but then after looking around for a while I couldn't get one in condition i wanted. so.. this is what i bought! it is a 1990 csx model ae92 seca. bought this last month in stock condition, but since then i've got alarm system installed, tinted the windows, replaced some interior plastic trims, replaced front speakers and also put in new speakers in the parcel shelf at the back. oh yeah, now the car has a white rollaclub url sticker on the rear liftback window! :y: the car doesn't have as much power as other cars in this forum lol. but i'm happy enough :y: okay n…

bought an rt142 from a surfie bonghead (was covered in billabong, nova, tracks etc. stickers lol) for $400 bucks. the dude reckoned it had major head probs, but i still drove it home; changed the plugs, oil, oil filter, coolant and put some chemiweld through the radiator and 2 months later she's still goin fine. its an avante, with the 22re and a 5 speed behind it. so far only mods have been: -heavy duty falcon rear springs -removed sound deadener (couldnt find a chisel so used a flathead screwdriver haha) -cut half a coil off the front springs (i know i know but its only temporary) -5mm spacers on rear wheels -better radiator -got rid of grandma spec mudfl…

Hey guys. First to introduce my small history with ke70's & why i love them. A few years ago a had a granny spec ke70, bog stock, immaculate inside, out & mechanically, & planned keeping it that way. Then, one morning, i don't know what happened, i clicked (got bored i guess). Cut the springs & painted it sunkist orange. Mind you, it was my first full spray job on a car, so was pretty average. Since I've been a member here for few weeks now without a corolla, I have finally decided to buy one, so I'm a corolla guy once more. I just recently bought a 1976 SR5 TE37 ^_^ for $1000USD for me to have as a dialy commuter because I want to be driving with style hahaha. The smog pollution exemption here in california is only up to 1975 only, this really sucks but I think I can live with having a smog check every year. As of right now, the car runs with its stock 2TC motor and a 5 speed manual transmission. The main body is white color and clean with the exception of bad hood and a right fender. Well i have gotten my hands on a SX hatch, which i am already in love with and have already throw some money at it. But i still feel the urge to go further. I don't want it to look like the car is a tai prossie and i want to keep it off the attention from our beloved police force. The car already has - 17" Rims - Been dropped and wheels tucked - 3.5" Stainless steel cannon Right now, it still turns heads and it is such a laugh to drive but i just want to custom it slightly. Hey all, Just joined cause I got given a CS 5speed corolla today. I think its a 1982 model, unsure though. Its a rear-wheel drive and is in ok nick. Has some major rust in the spare wheel pan though, and a bit from spilt fuel around the filler. not sure why I'm posting this here, but I thought it might make good descussion as what can be done to it, also needs new interior, and engine won't start (think its the battery, and lack of any motion lotion).. This is her in my driveway (the picture) :hmm:

K so my nan bought this T18 brand new in 1979. She died in 1992 and She gave it to my dad. My dad then gave it to my little brother, who basically rally'd it and trashed it. Then the alternator went on it and the battery kept going flat, so my brother just dumped it in the backyard and left it there. So i thought i would pull it out of the grass and start fixing it up. hey guys just got a ae71 4ac about 2 weeks back got a 5 speed and loud exhaust, has really stiff suspension lowered a fair bit. future mods. 4age turbo??? eh somthing bolt in that happens to be turbo 2 way lsd coilovers new paint job... woth ke70 flat front hopfully once i find one and some others lol also wondering if anyone could help me get a ke70 flat front and also help me on where to get some paint/ where to get it done.

some time last year i bought an 1986 ae82 4 $650 :hmm: wen i got it the paint was old and sus so i got it resprayed (white) looks nice now, will be better 1ce i paint that blue bit black tho haha unfortunatly its a 4ac not 4age but oh well still goes good... specially with the new exaust :hmm: anyway here are some pics of the beast new exaust old exaust :D hope 2 get some new rims soon and the ones thats are in the pic are now painted black with polished lip :) oh and the lil spoiler is painted black now and i have a nice big kenwood sticker on the back window :D
