i know that feeling, d/w its only for like 3 months haha. I'm from Blacktown mate and I'm out Richmond way everynow and then for uni :lolcry: I see kesevs all the time, mostly granny spec and full of rust... I bump into the odd P plater giving theirs a thrashing. You should be able to find one with rego with your budget. just be patient... check out front yards and stuff when you drive around, always worth bashing on a front door to ask whats doing with the nugget in the front yard, might pay off for you. I got all of my Kesevs that way, one was $100 with 3 months rego, my spirit cost $200 and the other was for a case. Ill keep an eye out for you anyways.

Its not hard to convert the KE70 to hydrolic clutch and change the engine mounts and cross member for the 4A engine. Ive done it in mine. Where are you located mate?

Hey Michael. Your making a good choice to come over to corollas. There is heaps of information available on this site as well as many others. I'd do a bit more reading before asking anymore questions. For an A engine conversion your best off with an ae71. Everyone will say 4age it. Price depends on condition but you'd be able to pick one up for around the $2k mark. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong... And flamers give him a break, poor bloke drives a Swift :lolcry:

noticed this with my kesevs and a mates from school. wasnt the first time he had to walk to the other carpark to retrieve his car. But yes you can get new keys cut without a problem. It would pay to find the toher keys though, not a good thing having spare keys to your car laying around.
